Abstract Background Geographical variation in morphological traits may reflect evolutionary patterns of adaptability along environmental gradients. Comprehensive information on longitudinal trait is very meaningful to explore diversity and trends widespread bermudagrass. Methods To the spatial traits, we investigated 10 bermudagrass soil nutrient indexes collected local climate data for 13 different regions from 119°E 105°E latitude 34°N. Results Considerable variations were observed at...

Infection with Ascochyta medicaginicola triggers the production of defensive secondary metabolites in plants, varying levels observed across two alfalfa varieties. Among six identified, 3-indoleacrylic acid (YD) and 3-ethynylaniline (EL) exhibited antifungal activity, achieving inhibition rates 82.21 66.36% at 200 μg/mL, respectively. YD EL exerted protective therapeutic effects, reducing leaf lesion areas by more than 96.00% compared to blank control. The mechanisms against A. included...

In this work, a one‐step method synthesis of lactide was reported instead the traditional two‐step method. The selection suitable acid catalyst polyphosphoric (PPA) and optimization reaction conditions resulted in yield 97%. Moreover, new strategy eliminates need for metal catalysts does not require high‐temperature conditions, thereby avoiding issue racemization. simple offers combination efficiency, sustainability, product quality improvements, making it modern, practical approach to synthesis.
