The effect of severe warm‐rolling and annealing is studied in a duplex stainless steel (DSS). For this purpose, warm‐rolled at 625 °C to 90, 95, 98% reduction thickness then isothermally annealed 1175 for time ranging from 2 120 min. Ultrafine microstructure achieved during warm‐rolling. Austenite shows continuous grain refinement up the highest strain level, but ferrite saturation beyond 90% reduction. structural evolution two phases consistent with texture evolution. transition copper‐type...

The evolution of microstructure and texture during isothermal annealing a heavily warm-rolled duplex steel (DSS) was studied. For this purpose DSS hot rolled, homogenized at 1448 K subsequently to 90% reduction in thickness 698 898 K. This followed by for different time intervals up 7200 seconds. Lamellar with alternate arrangement deformed ferrite austenite bands observed the as condition. showed much stronger α-fiber (Rolling direction (RD)//<110>) than γ-fiber (Normal (ND)//<111>)...

The effect of warm-rolling on the evolution microstructure and microtexture was investigated in a duplex steel. For this purpose annealed steel plates were cold warm-rolled up to 90% reduction thickness at room temperature 625°C, respectively. austenite volume fraction decreased consistently during cold-rolling indicating that not stable cold-rolling. In contrast, found be very 625°C. Development an ultrafine lamellar deformation structure with alternate arrangement ferrite bands could...

The increased use of reactive powder concrete (RPC) in structures has attracted attention towards the structural behavior RPC fires. This work examines experimentally performance and NSC columns subjected to 25% ultimate load exposed direct fire flame for a period 30 60 min at various temperature levels. paper aims evaluate maximum level duration that can be withstood by this type columns. results show failure mode without reinforcement is sudden shear failure, whereas reinforced crushing...

Self-compacting geopolymer concrete (SCGPC) is a cutting-edge sustainable engineering material in construction that eliminates the need for both compaction and Portland cement. In this study, impact of various steel fiber content on workability SCGPC was investigated. The basic features freshly made SCGPC, such as filling ability, passing segregation resistance, were assessed by employing slump flow, V-funnel, L-box, J-ring test techniques. Obtained results showed all investigated...
