Indazole is considered a very important scaffold in medicinal chemistry. It commonly found compounds with diverse biological activities, e.g., antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory agents. Considering that infectious diseases are associated to an inflammatory response, we designed set of 2H-indazole derivatives by hybridization cyclic systems compounds. The were synthesized tested against selected intestinal vaginal pathogens, including the protozoa Giardia intestinalis, Entamoeba histolytica,...

Indazole is an important scaffold in medicinal chemistry. At present, the progress on synthetic methodologies has allowed preparation of several new indazole derivatives with interesting pharmacological properties. Particularly, antiprotozoal activity have been recently reported. Herein, a series 22 was synthesized and studied as antiprotozoals. The 2-phenyl-2H-indazole accessed by one-pot procedure, which includes combination ultrasound synthesis under neat conditions well Cadogan’s...

Candidiasis, caused by yeasts of the genus Candida, is second cause superficial and mucosal infections fourth bloodstream infections. Although some antifungal drugs to treat candidiasis are available, resistant strains current therapies emerging. Therefore, search for new candicidal compounds certainly a priority. In this regard, series indazole pyrazole derivatives were designed in work, employing bioisosteric replacement, homologation, molecular simplification as anticandidal agents....

Cancer is the second leading cause of death, after cardiovascular diseases. Different strategies have been developed to treat cancer; however, chemotherapy with cytotoxic agents still most widely used treatment approach. Nevertheless, drug resistance available chemotherapeutic a serious problem, and development new active compounds remains constant need. Taking advantage molecular hybridization approach, in present work we designed, synthesized, tested activity two hybrid seven derivatives...

Graphite oxide (GrO) is doped with Cu(NO 3 ) 2 (CuN/GrO) and CuSO 4 (CuS/GrO). Face‐centered cubic Cu, monoclinic CuO, Cu O mixed crystalline phases are observed. The ID/IG ratio on average 1.0 for all composites, associated similar structural disorders defects. CuN/GrO CuS/GrO composites increase the C:O by 30% compared to GrO. In ‐ ‐doped GrO copper particle dispersion surface edges, respectively. By agarwell diffusion assay, composite presents only inhibition against Staphylococcus aureus...

Abstract We contribute with the design and synthesis of novel 2,3‐diphenyl‐2 H ‐indazole hybrids series ( 1 – 14 ). Compounds 4 6 had highest antiproliferative activity against cancer cell lines, HeLa, SK‐LU‐1, K‐562, PC‐3, SW620 MCF‐7 (CC 50 values from 3 to 5.4 μM). Their was also evaluated a normal human line, showing their higher Selectivity Index lines than reference drug CA ‐ . The inhibition tubulin assembly by compounds determined using in vitro polymerization assay Western Blotting....

Fungal infections caused by Candida are still a public health concern. Particularly, the resistance to traditional chemotherapeutic agents is major issue that requires efforts develop new therapies. One of most interesting approaches finding active compounds drug repurposing aided computational methods. In this work, two databases containing anticandidal and drugs were studied employing cheminformatics compared similarity The results showed 36 with high similarities some candicidals. From...
