This paper investigates optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (O-OFDM) systems with index modulation (IM) based on discrete Hartley transform (DHT) for visible light communications (VLC). An interesting trade-off between spectral efficiency (SE), energy efficiency, peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) and bit error rate (BER) performance can be made by using the IM technique. And DHT-based O-OFDM-IM achieve higher SE compared DFT (discrete Fourier transform)-based counterparts....

Underwater wireless optical communication (UWOC) is a potential technology for high-speed and reliable underwater data transmission. In environment, ocean turbulence has strong impact on the performance of UWOC systems. Thus, transmission laser selection (TLS) proposed as an effective technique fading mitigation in channels. this paper, we present vertical system with generalized TLS (GTLS) multi-layer cascaded Gamma-Gamma With GTLS, transmitter equipped N sources nth source selected For...

In this paper, the appropriate channel design and operating conditions for simultaneous operation of inclusion removal induction heating molten steel by imposing A.C. magnetic field around circular have been studied. (1) The effect lift force turbulence on in transition zone has computed; results show that when diameter is not less than 0.1 mm, both forces can be neglected because they are electromagnetic pinch force, especially shielding parameter 5.0. (2) minimal length to remove...

Coccoid green algae are abundant in subaerial habitats, but they largely unexplored because of their morphological uniformity. Several new genus-level lineages have recently been described on the basis molecular data. In this study, a coccoid alga was isolated from surface soil Zhoukou, Henan Province, China, and cultured cells were using light electron microscopy. The ellipsoidal cell had smooth wall parietal chloroplast with pyrenoid surrounded by starch envelope. Reproduction occurred...

Underwater wireless optical communication (UWOC) as a potential underwater transmission technology has attracted increasing attention due to its high speed, low delay, and wide range of applications. In addition absorption scattering, ocean turbulence fading misalignment seriously affect system performance. Thus, the relay assistance methods have been presented an effective technique for mitigation in channels. this paper, we propose fixed gain amplify-and-forward (AF) relay-assisted...

With the in-depth exploration of ocean, Internet Underwater Things (IoUT) technology has attracted increasing attention. wireless optical communication (UWOC) provides possibility massive data transmission for IoUT. The underwater link UWOC can be interrupted by obstruction marine animals and plants, seamounts, some equipment. In this paper, we present a reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) assisted system to solve problem occlusion. cascaded turbulence channel fading coefficients from...

Using discrete Hartley transform (DHT) instead of Fourier (DFT) in the optical index modulation (IM) aided orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems for visible light communications (VLC) results improvement terms spectral efficiency, energy peak-to-average power ratio, and bit error rate (BER) performance with a lower computational complexity, benefiting from removal Hermitian symmetry. In this paper, by employing dual-mode (DM) DHT-based OFDM systems, more efficient schemes...
