Proteases are the enzymes responsible for hydrolysis of complex proteins into simpler units better digestion and absorption nutrients. This study was conducted to determine optimum supplementation level effects dietary protease addition in poultry by-product meal-based diet (PBM) on growth performance, nutrient digestibility, digestive enzyme activities physiochemical parameters juvenile rohu, Labeo rohita (initial weight: 11.33 ± 0.02 g). For this purpose, seven iso-nitrogenous iso-lipidic...
Vitamin C (VC) is a necessary nutrient for normal fish physiology and immunity. Therefore, A 60-day feeding trial was designed to evaluate the dietary VC requirements of silver carp (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix). Six isocaloric isonitrogenous diets were formulated by incorporation at 0, 50, 100, 200, 400 800 mg kg−1 levels analysed content in diet 5.7, 51.1, 95.3, 191.6, 370.7 757.5 respectively. At termination, supplementation significantly enhanced growth feed utilization. The highest...
