Introdução O tumor fibroso solitário (TFS) consiste em uma neoplasia de origem mesenquimal fibroblástica, que incide principalmente entre a quarta e sétima década vida, com baixo acometimento população jovem, sem diferenciação os sexos. Acomete, aproximadamente, 2,8 para cada 100.000 pacientes. Embora o local mais comum seja pleura 30 40% dos casos, também pode se localizar região cabeça pescoço nas cavidades abdominal pélvica.
