The decommissioning of nuclear power plants has led to a surge in the production radioactive waste, necessitating development accurate and reliable measurement methods for safe waste disposal. This study presents new concrete reference material (RM) containing beta, gamma nuclides quality assurance control (QA/QC) measurements. newly developed RM manufacturing method was used ensure sample homogeneity; rigorous processes were followed according ISO guidelines. RM, designed mimic real...
We present time resolved X-ray diffraction (TRXD) experiments on the transport of a coherent acoustic wave-packet and nonlinear carrier relaxation processes across nearly ideal AlGaAs/GaAs interface. A femtosecond laser impulsively excites underlying substrate such that phonons take form two counter propagating unipolar strain pulses associated hot dynamics. Picosecond TRXD is used to observe laser-induced separately for film substrate.
