The effect of preheating on strain rate and liquid flowrate is analysed to develop a model for solidification cracking in successive laser weld spots 2024 aluminium alloy. It shown that the lower tendency with can be attributed but not feeding rate. also there strong crack propagation through fusion lines between consecutive where already present at line. This observation higher local
Aluminium alloy AA2024 is one of the most susceptible alloys to solidification cracking. The influence Nd:YAG laser welding parameters on cracking severity AA 2024 was studied. Welding performed in two modes: single spot and overlap welding. In mode, formation columnar zone increases fusion zone. cracks were characterised as: propagated from previous spot, initiated line with base metal. It established that comparison there very limited tendency for initiation new weld metal a spot.
In this study, the critical nugget size, at which failure state in tensile shear test changed from interfacial mode to pull-out one, was estimated as a function of and base metal hardness. The proposed approach could address effect various parameters involved resistance spot welding process, such sheet thickness, chemical composition physical properties electrodes sheets. reliability present model evaluated using independent experimental results. Based on obtained results, steel diameter...
The ability to produce high-quality weld with the least distortion and heat affected zone width by Nd:YAG laser welding process has made it one of best candidates for steel tailor welded blanks (TWBs). effect parameters including peak power, pulse duration, speed, thickness ratio on mechanical properties failure modes TWBs were investigated. was St12 carbon sheets different 0.5 mm, 1 1.5 mm. hardness profile in all samples followed a similar pattern, that maximum metal gradually fell...
The effect of friction stir processing (FSP) on the behaviour wrought alloy 2024 in pulsed laser welding was examined. results showed that FSP changes microstructure and significantly affects susceptibility base metal to liquation cracking. change cracking is proposed be related refinement redistribution precipitates along grain boundaries, increasing flexibility network. According observations, as a result FSP, not only cracks but also solidification were reduced, supporting view can act...
Background: Different studies have used different tests to evaluate bond strength of resin cements root dentin. In this in vitro study, three were the two dentin using irrigation protocols.Material and Methods: Ninety-six intact single-rooted teeth selected for study.Forty-eight teeth, with a length 15mm, randomly divided into groups irrigated normal saline or 2.5% sodium hypochlorite solutions during canal preparation, respectively. For each 12 specimens from group, fiber post #1 was bonded...
