The current study evaluated the effects of conditional discrimination (listener) training with coins on emergence novel stimulus relations, textual behavior, tacts, and intraverbals. Two preschoolers autism were taught 3 relations among coins, their names, values. After initial training, 4 emerged for first participant 7 second participant, suggesting that this technology can be incorporated into educational curricula teaching prerequisite money skills to children autism.

The clinical symptoms of hemoglobin disorders such as β-thalassemia and sickle cell anemia are significantly ameliorated by the persistent expression γ-globin after birth. This knowledge has driven discovery important regulators that silence postnatally. Improved understanding γ- to β-globin switching mechanism holds key devising targeted therapies for β-hemoglobinopathies. To further investigate this mechanism, we used murine erythroleukemic (MEL) line containing an intact 183-kb human...

Ribosomal protein L3-like (RPL3L) is a poorly characterized ribosomal that exclusively expressed in skeletal and cardiac muscle. RPL3L also downregulated Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), suggesting it may play an important role muscle biology. In this study, we investigated the of healthy C57 dystrophic mdx mice. We show developmentally regulated intramuscular adeno-associated virus (AAV)-mediated knockdown tibialis anterior mice results increased specific force with improved resistance to...

Expression of fetal γ-globin in adulthood ameliorates symptoms β-hemoglobinopathies by compensating for the mutant β-globin. Reactivation silenced gene is therefore substantial clinical interest. To study regulation expression, we created GG mice, which carry an intact 183-kb human β-globin locus modified to express enhanced green fluorescent protein (eGFP) from Gγ-globin promoter. embryos eGFP first yolk sac blood islands and then aorta–gonad mesonephros liver, sites normal embryonic...
