Remanufacturing at the component level could be performed by either a manufacturer or supplier. In this paper, we analyze performance of manufacturer-remanufacturing and supplier-remanufacturing in decentralized closed-loop supply chain, examine their desirability from different stakeholder perspectives. We find that may engage remanufacturing used components even if is costlier than traditional manufacturing; given costlier, forgo due to marginal increase consumer willingness-to-pay for...
This paper focuses on optimisation issue in designing urban logistics network for joint delivery alliances parcel industry, explicitly taking into account heterogeneous fleet and practices of China. The objective is to determine the set Intermediate Depots (IDs) open allocation city terminals minimise a total cost comprised set-up costs IDs variable routes under delivery. A powerful cooperative approximation heuristic algorithm developed comparative analysis performed with three published...
<p style='text-indent:20px;'>In considering route optimization from multiple distribution centers called depots via some intermediate facilities satellites to final customers with commodities request, we introduce the Multi-Commodity Two-Echelon Vehicle Routing Problem Satellite Synchronization (MC-2E-VRPSS). The MC-2E-VRPSS involves transportation on first echelon and deliveries second echelon. integrates satellite synchronization constraints time window for two-echelon network aims...
Purpose This study investigates the dynamics of solver engagement in online creative crowdsourcing competitions through lens social comparison between entries. Using data from ZBJ.com, a leading Chinese platform, authors examine how competitors’ prior entries, reviewed by seekers and incorporating both positive negative feedback, influence subsequent behavior. Design/methodology/approach Drawing on logo design held ZBJ.com 2020, this categorized solvers based their exposure to entries with...
Customer review data on the JD.com (https://www.jd.com) is collected in this paper, and text mining methods are employed to study customer perceived value (CPV) of customised products under social commerce, trying add understanding why certain customisation programmes successful while others fail. The results show that CPV online China a multi-dimensional construct includes process values, media can affect relationships among customers hosting firms involved co-creation. Therefore, provides...
Remanufacturing is a meaningful way to realise the circular economy, and many manufacturers practice it. Usually, manufacturer keeps private information about remanufacturing costs because relatively new business with an uncertain complicated process. As result, asymmetric will hinder development of remanufacturing. To address this problem, we study cost sharing issues in supply chain paper. We consider sourcing critical components from supplier manufacturing products collecting end-of-use...
This paper presents an inventory model for perishable goods in a supply chain with single supplier and multiple competing retailers. The proposed suggests that when the enterprise (i.e. supplier) adopts buy-back contract optimal pricing return policy, competition among retailers can be characterised as multi-person game unique, stable solutions. Specifically, demonstrates terms of management retail chain, use to coordinate whole allocate expected profit between achieve 'win-win' solution.
Beamforming with sparse constraint has shown important performance improvement. In this paper, a robust least squares constant modulus beamforming is proposed. The proposed approach shows faster convergence performance, lower sidelobe level, and better steady-state output signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) than that of the conventional linearly constrained algorithm, especially in presence mismatches between actual presumed steering vectors. Simulation results demonstrate...
This paper describes a study on identifying key successful factors in knowledge transfer resulting from business mergers and acquisitions (M&A) those (so-called) traditional industries (e.g., textile steel & iron) with the data collected iron industry Southwestern China. Specifically, this research investigates relationship between prior-gained of merging companies, preparation implementation processes, actual performance after transfer. The result reveals that such companies will have...
We introduce a stochastic inventory relocation problem for one-way, station-based car-sharing system that utilizes electric cars (EV), where customers' rental demands and rented vehicles' travel distances are uncertain temporal-spatial imbalance. Workers hired to relocate vehicles between stations. To maximize the total expected profits can be collected by system, worker must determine whether an EV, which vehicle choose, station move EV upon her arrival at station. The is formulated as...
This paper is an attempt to investigate the current issues and development of marketing strategy for all those online college textbook sales, as Internet has provided more options students across nation in terms buying selling their textbooks recent years. The primary data this study are collected through a comprehensive website evaluation testing, questionnaire survey from selected campuses. objectives research are: (1) business of: price, leadtime, availability, likes; (2) identify major...
We introduce a stochastic share-a-ride problem with electric vehicles, in which passenger and parcel orders can be served shared manner by the same vehicle ride-hailing system. assume that customer service requests arrive stochastically consider have priorities over orders, while passengers need to transported directly from their origins destinations. To maximize total expected rewards collected system, system operator must determine how assign two types of what sequence vehicles should...
Purpose Couriers are in an unequal relationship with on-demand logistic platforms regards to order assignment and delivery-related information acquisition, which leads high courier turnover rates. Based on social cognitive theory justice theory, this research investigates the impact of disclosure strategy couriers' perceived continuous participation intention presents managerial suggestions lower rate. Design/methodology/approach Taking Chinese couriers as experimental subjects, study...
