This study examines the properties of ordinary and high-strength fiber-reinforced pervious concrete, aiming for a 28-day compressive strength exceeding 40 MPa with target porosity close to 15%. Utilizing glass fiber (at 0.25% 0.5% volume ratios) steel 1% 2%), conducts mechanical abrasion resistance testing on concrete specimens. Sand dust clogging experimental simulations assess permeability coefficients both application maintenance purposes, revealing optimized maintenance, including vacuum...
We consider an M x / G /1 queueing system with N -policy and multiple vacations. As soon as the empties, server leaves for a vacation of random length V. When he returns, if queue is greater than or equal to predetermined value (threshold), immediately begins serve customers. If finds less customers, another so on until finally at least obtain size distribution show that decomposes into three variables one which ordinary queue. The interpretation other will be provided. also derive waiting...
Pervious concrete (also called porous concrete) is one of the most promising sustainable and green building materials today. This study examined high-strength pervious ordinary-strength reinforced with steel fiber or glass fiber. A total fifteen mixtures normal- concretes were used. The goal that 28-day compressive strength be above 42 MPa porosity as close to 15% possible achieve technical specifications. Both (1%, 2%) (0.25%, 0.5%) investigated in water permeability, porosity, strength,...
This study explores the reinforced concrete beams retrofitted with ultra-high-performance (UHPC) or carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP). The main test items and methodologies are as follows: (i) Use basic mechanical tests to evaluate feasibility of UHPC a strengthening material. (ii) Probe into retrofit effect making small-sized using CFRP. results show that Poisson's ratio ordinary is between 0.19 0.21, which suitable for cement mortar repair has good compatibility. Using CFRP beam...
There are many studies on the application of raw diatomite. Still, there few using waste diatomite to partially replace cement in concrete, especially literature regarding mechanical properties and heat insulation. As such, diatomaceous earths buried yearly. This study used recycled part (10%, 15%, 20%, 30%, 40%) make mixed mortar. Various tests were performed determine its thermal insulation benefits. According results multiple tests, amount replacement increases mixing water setting time....
In this research, the ability of pervious concrete pavement material to reduce pollutant concentrations and purify water was investigated. This project mainly aims study such as those in diluted sulfuric acid, seawater, motor oil. The results demonstrated that effective artificial oil tests. After flowing through pavement, a acid solution (pH value 2.0) could dramatically increase its pH approximately 7.0. A system greatly decrease content an seawater (salinity 36%) about 1%, combined with...
This study was to evaluate the CO2 curing on mechanical properties of Portland cement concrete. Three different specimen sizes (5 × 10 cm, 20 and 15 30 cm cylinders), three concentrations (50%, 75%, 100%), pressures (0.2, 0.4, 0.8 MPa), times (1, 3, 6 h), two water ratios (0.41, 0.68) for normal high-strength concretes, test ages (3, 28 days) were used this investigation. Before using process, concrete samples reached initial set at approximately 4 h, free in gradually removed when dry gas...
Abstract This study investigated the effects of applying three different types rejuvenators on a highly aged parking lot pavement, which had shown some severe raveling. Cores were taken from pavement before and after treatments to examine these treatments. Tests performed determine viscosity recovered asphalt binders layers treatment. Right coring, surface texture skid resistance measured assess whether treatment adversely affected frictional properties pavement.
Pervious concrete pavement is air and water permeable, the soil underneath can be kept wet rainwater quickly filter into ground, allowing groundwater resources to renew in time. also possesses many other advantages including sound absorption skid resistance therefore suitable for use Taiwan's rainy humid environment. However, prevalence of voids result low strength, so pervious has not been surfacing roads with heavy traffic loadings. In this study we sought determine mix cement, silica...
In this paper, we establish an explicit form of matrix decompositions for the queue length distributions MAP/G/1 queues under multiple and single vacations with N-policy. We show that vector generating function Y (z) at arbitrary time X departures are decomposed into = p idle (z)ζ where is epoch which server not in service, ζ unidentified functions.
The main purpose of this article is to demonstrate a unified queue length formula for the BMAP/G/1 with generalized server vacations. We also present two formulas; one distribution workload, and other joint remaining service time. Some factorizations, which are previously known M/G/1 queues vacations MAP/G/1 multiple vacations, now recast in new framework. Further, based on these formulas, we provide general recursions performance measures interest.
Abstract This research project aims to use reactive powder concrete, RPC, as a new repair material and evaluate its bond strength durability existing concrete. One accelerated aging environment, namely freeze-thaw cycle acceleration deterioration test, was selected for the evaluation of materials. Before after aging, samples were evaluated by compressive strength, (slant shear test), steel pull out relative dynamic modulus NDT tests. The test results show that RPC possesses high modulus,...
