We present the first experimental giant dipole resonance (GDR) width systematics, in temperature region 0.8–1.2 MeV for 201Tl, a near Pb nucleus, to investigate evolution of GDR shell effect and pairing dominated region. The extracted widths are well below predictions corrected thermal shape fluctuation model (TSFM) included phonon damping model. A similar behavior is also observed 63Cu measured work 119Sb, earlier. This discrepancy attributed induced quadrupole moment leading critical point...

The influence of $\ensuremath{\alpha}$ clustering on nuclear reaction dynamics is investigated using the giant dipole resonance (GDR) lineshape studies in reactions $^{20}\mathrm{Ne}$ (${E}_{\mathrm{lab}}=145,160$ MeV) $+$ $^{12}\mathrm{C}$ and (${E}_{\mathrm{lab}}=160$ $^{27}\mathrm{Al}$, populating $^{32}\mathrm{S}$ $^{47}\mathrm{V}$, respectively. GDR lineshapes from two systems are remarkably different each other. Whereas, non-$\ensuremath{\alpha}$-like $^{47}\mathrm{V}$ undergoes Jacobi...

The systematic study of the correlation between experimental giant dipole resonance (GDR) width and average deformation nucleus at finite excitation is presented for mass region A ~ 59 to 208. We show that GDR (Γ) quadrupole do not follow a linear relation, as predicted earlier, due induced moment also depends on nuclei. different empirical values extracted from match exceptionally well with thermal shape fluctuation model. As result, this universal Γprovides direct probe determine nuclear...

Elastic scattering angular distribution measurements of the weakly bound ${}^{6,7}$Li projectiles on a ${}^{232}$Th target have been carried out at different bombarding energies close to Coulomb barrier. The data analyzed for both systems using optical model ecis code with phenomenological Woods-Saxon and Sao Paulo double-folding forms potentials. energy dependence volume-type real imaginary parts potentials are derived from best fit experimental data. usual threshold anomaly has observed...

Neutron evaporation spectra at backward angles from ${}^{201}$Tl${}^{*}$, ${}^{185}$Re${}^{*}$, and ${}^{169}$Tm${}^{*}$ compound nuclei, having different ground-state deformations, have been measured two excitation energies (${E}^{*}$ $\ensuremath{\sim}$ 37 26 MeV). The values of the inverse level density parameter ($k$), extracted these excitations using statistical model calculations, are observed to decrease substantially lower energy ($\ensuremath{\sim}$26 MeV) for nuclei large...

We present, for the first time, simultaneous determination of shear viscosity ($\ensuremath{\eta}$) and entropy density ($s$) thus, $\ensuremath{\eta}/s$ equilibrated nuclear systems from $A\ensuremath{\sim}30$ to $A\ensuremath{\sim}208$ at different temperatures. At finite temperature, $\ensuremath{\eta}$ is estimated by utilizing $\ensuremath{\gamma}$ decay isovector giant dipole resonance populated via fusion evaporation reaction, while $s$ evaluated level parameter ($a$) temperature...

We present a probable experimental signature of collective enhancement in the nuclear level density (NLD) by measuring neutron and giant dipole resonance (GDR) $\gamma$ rays emitted from rare earth $^{169}$Tm compound nucleus populated at 26.1 MeV excitation energy.
