A new method has been developed for determining the content of mixtures octahydro-1,3,5,7-tetranitro-1,3,5,7-tetrazocine (HMX) and hexahydro-1,3,5-trinitro-1,3,5-triazine (RDX), HMX/RDX ratio, in explosive compositions by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), regions MIR (mid infrared) NIR (near with reference values obtained chromatographic analysis (HPLC).
