Abstract Short essential notions of dynamic-catenal phytosociology are defined as the basis landscape vegetation science. The most important units – series, geoseries, permaseries and geopermaseries (sigmetum, geosigmetum, permasigmetum permageosigmetum) discussed synthesized in several figures.

The authors study the bioclimatic and altitudinal distribution of pre forest vegetation problems they pose in Marocco. They reveal correspondance between thermic variants on phytosociological values some major forested elements their evolutionary series which are arranged within principal levels.
