We have observed radiative recombinations of excitons bound to different nitrogen-pair complexes in GaAs by applying hydrostatic pressure. The samples investigated relatively high nitrogen concentrations and were grown using a chloride method. By carefully tuning the pressure, we can not only make ${\mathrm{NN}}_{\mathit{i}}$ pairs (1\ensuremath{\le}i\ensuremath{\le}10) appear successively band gap then become major exciton recombination channel, but also change binding energy these levels....
The continuous advancement of aircraft engines requires centrifugal compressors with wider stability margins. This study investigates a compressor total pressure ratio 4.8, employed in turboshaft engine. static characteristics indicate that the impeller is primary source instability within stage. To improve stability, various circulation casing treatments were applied, incorporating three distinct bleed slot positions and several configurations negative pre-swirl vanes. By comparing...
We have studied the metalorganic vapor phase epitaxy growth of ultrathin GaInAs/InP and GaAs/InP quantum well (QW) structures using photoluminescence (PL) spectra as a probe for interface effects. In parallel we also InAsxP1−x ‘‘interface QWs’’ formed by simply exposing InP to AsH3. see correlation between QW properties (PL peak position, effective thickness, PL half-width) surface during material. For GaAs QWs grown under conditions where typically As-excess c(4×4)/d(4×4)- or (1×2)-like...
We report the successful growth of quantum-well structures ${\mathrm{GaAs}}_{1\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}\mathit{x}}$${\mathrm{P}}_{\mathit{x}}$/GaAs/${\mathrm{GaAs}}_{1\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}\mathit{x}}$${\mathrm{P}}_{\mathit{x}}$ on GaAs substrates. The samples are studied by photoluminescence and Raman spectroscopy. grown metalorganic vapor-phase epitaxy with thin ${\mathrm{GaAs}}_{1\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}\mathit{x}}$${\mathrm{P}}_{\mathit{x}}$ barriers strained to crystal lattice. Spectroscopic studies have been carried out for GaAs crystals under hydrostatic pressure, intended the investigation of effective-mass donor levels associated with different conduction-band minima and DX center. Our results reveal existence three states appearing in band gap. These are labeled ${\mathit{D}}_{\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Gamma}}}$, ${\mathit{D}}^{\mathrm{*}}$, ${\mathit{D}}_{\mathit{X}}$. The state normally observed at atmospheric successively crosses two other...
A numerical study on the active control of a machine suspension system supported cylindrical shell aiming to reduce sound radiation is presented in this paper. In system, rigid-body simply-supported elastic through four isolators. theoretical model employed and types strategies including kinetic energy minimization strategy, power flow squared acceleration strategy acoustic are considered, with corresponding force obtained by linear quadratic optimal method. Numerical simulations conducted...
Active vibration control under a time-variant secondary path is research priority in the field of suppression. To track varied path, mirror modified filtered-x least mean square (MMFxLMS) algorithm proposed. However, due to expensive computing cost and difficulty adjust modeling performance primary paths independently, application MMFxLMS limited. The studied this paper. First, complexity reduced by simplifying normalization using an exponential window. convergence overall different...
