In this work, we found that the interdiffusion of CdS and Zn2SnO4 (ZTO) layers can occur either at high temperature (550–650 °C) in Ar or lower (400–420 a CdCl2 atmosphere. By integrating film into CdS/CdTe solar cell as buffer layer, feature solve several critical issues improve device performance reproducibility both SnO2-based Cd2SnO4-based CdTe cells. Interdiffusion consumes from ZTO sides during fabrication process improves quantum efficiency short wavelengths. The acts Zn source to...

Abstract Coal and gas outburst is a dynamic phenomenon in underground mining engineering that often accompanied by the throwing breakage of large amounts coal. To study crushing effect its evolution during outbursts, coal samples with different initial particle sizes were evaluated using testing device. Three basic sizes, 5–10 mesh, 10–40 40–80 as well some mixed size used tests. The particles pre-compacted at pressure 4 MPa before vertical ground stress (4 MPa) horizontal (2.4 initially...

Abstract To fabricate a high‐efficiency polycrystalline thin‐film tandem cell, the most critical work is to make top cell ( > 15%) with high bandgap (E g = 1·5–1·8 eV) and transmission (T 70%) in near‐infrared (NIR) wavelength region. The CdTe one of candidates for because state‐of‐the‐art single‐junction devices efficiencies more than 16% are available, although its (1·48 slightly lower current‐matched dual‐junction device. In this paper, we focus on development a: (1) thin, low‐bandgap...

Elastic waves have different attenuation laws when propagating in various materials, which is one of the important challenges application non-destructive testing methods, such as acoustic emission (AE) technology geotechnical engineering. The study presented this paper investigated influence mechanism concrete composition materials and parameters on propagation law elastic using specimens produced six particle sizes sand or gravel. burst AE signal was generated through lead-breaking...

Local environments surrounding Cd and S in CdS:O thin films have been determined using extended x-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) near-edge (NEXAFS). As indicated by the EXAFS, atoms remain predominantly bonded with S. The EXAFS NEXAFS clearly demonstrate presence of S–O bonds. oxygen actually combine to form SO3 SO4 complexes. Combined transmission electron micrograph, these results suggest formation oxygen-free CdS nanocrystals provide an unambiguous explanation for mystery increased...

Removing fine particles generated from coal combustion is important for air pollution abatement because of the impact such have on environment. Removal was investigated by spraying attapulgite suspending liquid. Element change in before and after liquid examined analysis scanning electronic microscopy coupled with energy dispersive spectroscopy (SEM/EDX). In order to optimize removal process, influences variables as flow rate (FASL), ratio (RA/L), mass fraction (MAtt), agglomeration room...
