Abstract This article reviews the basic theoretical aspects of graphene in order to contribute making teaching easier and more understandable for those who still cannot understand it an abstract way. work presents sp2 hybridization concepts from a quantum approach, which consists obtaining states sigma bonds carbon atoms orientation close another atom that is our reference point crystal lattice. Furthermore, we calculate band structure by using tight-binding model, can give us good...
In recent years, nonlinear optics field is in constant growth, particularly on the characterization and study of optical properties glass compounds. this sense, plasmonic effect caused by silver nanoparticles (SNP) (NLO) different materials was studied. Furthermore, we report experimental absorption spectra, emission Z-scan measurements both closed open apertures scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM) to show morphology matrices nucleation SNP. Moreover, some NLO parameters were...
ZrO 2 samples were obtained using three different synthesis methods (Calcination, Co-precipitation and Hydrothermal). The characterized to analyze the effect of crystalline phase on their thermoluminescent (TL) photoluminescent (PL) responses. was analyzed by X-Ray diffraction (XRD) Raman. Nanoparticle size distribution scanning electron microscopy (SEM). For optical analysis, characterizations included absorbance measurements, where exhibited modifications in color centers, PL emission...
The implementation of new medical techniques and technologies has increased occupational exposure to ionizing radiation consequently the development neoplasia adverse effects on health personnel.

Lithium tetraborate (Li2B4O7) glass matrices doped with Manganese (Mn), Copper (Cu) and Chromium (Cr) are synthesized, using the melt-quenching method. Shielding optical parameters studied in this work. High-resolution Transmission Electron Microscopy confirms formation of Mn, Cu Cr nanoparticles samples. Absorption spectra samples show characteristic surface-plasmon bands these transition-metals nanoparticles. Their bandgaps were calculated from absorption spectra. The fluorescence each...
Glass matrices with transition metals were synthesized. Radiation shielding and optical parameters are studied. We show the characteristic surface-plasmon bands calculated to analyze which sample has best radiation response.
In this work, we present the plasmon effect of a novel nano-material to design lithium borate glass become possible laser material.
