This work aimed at investigating the crucial factor in building and maintaining combustion front during in-situ (ISC), oxidized coke pyrolyzed coke. The surface morphologies, elemental contents, non-isothermal mass losses of cokes were thoroughly examined. results indicated that could be combusted a lower temperature compared to due primarily their differences molecular polarity microstructure. Kinetic triplets determined using iso-conversional models one advanced integral master plots...
This work reports the investigation of catalytic effect metallic additives on heavy oil oxidation during air injection process through thermogravimetric testing. The results indicate that crude and mixed with additives, combusted in an atmosphere, exhibit three different types reactions defined as low-temperature (LTO), fuel deposition (FD), high-temperature (HTO). Because differences individual activity specific surface area effects, varied effects oxidation. Meanwhile, difference...
Abstract The Yangsanmu oilfield of Dagang is a typical heavy oil reservoir. After the maximum primary production (waterflooding), more than half original still retained in formation. Therefore, implementation an enhanced recovery (EOR) process to further raise scheme inevitable. In this work, novel in‐situ CO 2 foam technique which can be used as potential EOR was studied. A screening gas producers, stabilizers and foaming agents followed by study properties systems through static...
Abstract Hydrophobically associative polymers have been verified having enhanced oil recovery (EOR) potential. In this paper, a hydrophobically polyacrylamide functionalized with p‐ sulfocalix[4]arene (denoted as SHPAM) was firstly prepared through redox free‐radical polymerization technique. Then, the water solubility, comprehensive properties, flowing behaviors, and displacement characteristics of SHAPM were investigated. Experimental results illustrated that SHPAM had benign thickening...
Due to low oil recovery factor in heavy reservoir, air injection with catalyst becomes a competitive technology effectively reduce viscosity of crude as result the cost and small environment pollution. This paper determined feasibility reservoir through static dynamic experiments. The results indicated that under effect catalyst, oxidation between could significantly oil. optimal contained 0.7 wt. % oil-solubility organic acid copper 0.5 sodium hydroxide. With time increasing, decreased...
In this study, the effect of heating rate, oil chemical composition, and clay mineral type on thermokinetic behaviors oxidation was investigated by TG DTA tests. The results show that temperature intervals reactions are extended peak burnout temperatures shifted to higher values when increasing rate. Heavier with more heavy components exhibits faster reaction rate energy requirement in low-temperature stage, releases heat high-temperature stage. catalytic properties surface area clays can...
In this work, the effects of oxygen concentration and reservoir cutting on thermokinetic characteristics light oil were analyzed using thermogravimetry (TG/DTG). Results show that three consecutive oxidation reactions distinct chemical mechanism (low-temperature [LTO], fuel deposition [FD], high-temperature oxidation) are detected for all tested samples. Hypoxic air weakens LTO FD process causes a poor performance, while positively influences thermal oil. Kinetic parameters comparison...
A better understanding of the influence factor investigation and oxidation behavior prediction for crude oil could supply valuable insights into reactivity feasibility air injection process. In this study, non-isothermal experiments have been conducted via TG/DSC/PDSC methods with different heating rates (5, 10, 15 °C/min) experimental pressures (1, 3, 5 MPa) in order to investigate influences on behaviors, exothermic characteristics, kinetic parameters typical tight oil. addition,...
