Increasing dissipation-free supercurrent has been the primary issue for practical application of superconducting wires. For magnesium diboride, MgB2, carbon is known to be most effective dopant enhance high-field properties. However, critical role remains elusive, and also low-field current density not improved. Here, we have undertaken malic acid doping MgB2 find that microscopic origin enhancement properties due boron vacancies associated stacking faults, as observed by high-resolution...

Tetrataenite (L10-FeNi) is a promising candidate for use as permanent magnet free of rare-earth elements because its favorable properties. In this study, single-phase L10-FeNi powder with high degree order was synthesized through new method, nitrogen insertion and topotactic extraction (NITE). the FeNiN, which has same ordered arrangement L10-FeNi, formed by nitriding A1-FeNi ammonia gas. Subsequently, FeNiN denitrided reaction to derive an parameter 0.71. The transformation disordered-phase...

Abstract During fast‐charging, uneven lithium plating on the surface of commercial graphite anode impedes electrochemical performance lithium‐ion batteries, causing a safety issue. The formation passivation layer, solid‐electrolyte interphase (SEI), due to side reactions with organic electrolyte, correlates long‐term cycling under fast‐charging conditions, necessitating comprehensive analysis. Herein, it is demonstrated that molybdenum disulfide (MoS 2 ) coating natural (NG) modulates...

Considering the demand for organosulfur materials and challenges associated with currently used oxidation processes, in this study, we evaluated counter-cation of sodium chlorite (Na+ClO2 -) tetrabutylammonium chloride (Bu4N+Cl-) to synthesise (Bu4N+ClO2 -). Bu4N+ClO2 - exhibited good solubility organic solvents like chloroform (5.2 mol L-1) ethyl acetate (2.8 L-1). The oxygenation reaction organosulfides was examined an HCl-acidic solution under ambient conditions, selectively forming...

Abstract Characterizing molten corium–concrete interaction (MCCI) fuel debris in Fukushima reactors is essential to develop efficient methods for its removal. To enhance the accuracy of microscopic observation and focused ion beam (FIB) microsampling MCCI debris, we developed a three-dimentional FIB scanning electron microscopy (SEM) technique with multiphase positional misalignment (MPPM) correction method. This system automatically aligns voxel positions, corrects contrast, removes...

Noise suppression in downsized circuits utilizing magnetic granular films is demonstrated. Films of Fe-Al-O with thickness 2 /spl mu/m which exhibit very high mu/" dispersion the quasimicrowave band were found to work as noise suppressors. The attached onto a micro-strip line and transmission characteristics compared. This first verify that only can play role frequency conduction band. results suggest possibility thin film suppressors be integrated into micron scale semiconductor circuits.

In HTSs, weak links of superconductivity are inevitable at high-angle grain boundaries (GBs).
