The thermal properties of biomass over a range pyrolysis temperatures have been measured using Transient Plane Source (TPS) instrument and differential analyzer (DTA). In this study, property measurements were made on six softwoods: subalpine fir, Douglas Engelmann spruce, loblolly pine, lodgepole ponderosa pine.
