본 연구의 목적은 에너지 흡수형 강재 댐퍼를 이용하여 손상순서를 제어함으로써 주구조체를 재사용 할 수 있는 철골조시스템을 개발하고, 지진응답특성을 파악하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 댐퍼의 형상을 제안하고, 제안된 변형 형상과 응력 분포를 알아보기 범용 유한요소해석 프로그램인 ANSYS(ver.10.0)을 이용한 비선형 유한요소해석을 수행하였다. 또한 파악하기 실대형 사이즈 <TEX>$54m{\times}2.4m$</TEX>의 1층 철골조 실험체 4개를 설계 및 제작하여 유사동적 지진응답실험을 연구에서 제안하는 제진요소로 사용하는 경우, 주구조체에 비하여 높은 강성을 갖는 댐퍼가 소폭의 변위에 먼저 소성화함으로써 이력에 의한 지진에너지를 흡수할 있으며, 지진응답에서 유리한 것이 판명되었다. 히트 파이프 열교환기(HPHX)는 일반적인 열교환기와는 달리 파이프를 사용하기 때문에 열을 효과적으로 전달할 수 있다. 하지만 열교환 효율을 높이기 위해 외부에 얇은 핀(fin)을 추가하면, 이를 해석하기 많은 격자가 필요하게 되고 높은 해석 비용으로 인해 정확도가 저하되게 된다. 본 연구에서는 full scale 전산 해석을 파이프의 외부 핀 영역을 porous media model 방식을 적용하였다. 통해 HPHX에서 model의 종류에 따른 열교환기에서의 열성능 및 효율변화를 분석하였으며 기반으로 작동 환경의 변화에 성능 변화를 확인하였다. 연구의 결과는 HPHX 열교환기에 대해 model을 활용한 해석의 방법을 제공함으로써 열 유동 성능의 예측 정확도 향상에 기여할 있을 것으로 기대된다.
