Coconut shell filled composites were prepared from recycled low density polyethylene polymer matrix containing up to 15% weight of coconut powder as filler. The effect coir fiber loading on the properties was then investigated. It shown that values tensile strength, flexural strength and hardness increased 7.1MN/m2,18.0 GPa 92.7 respectively. Effect of flow velocity crude oil on corrosion inhibition low carbon steel was investigated using the weight loss method. The coupons were immersed in inhibited and uninhibited for 24hrs, 48hrs, 72hrs 96hrs. The varied Reynolds numbers 3705, 3054, 2220 734.
