Antimicromial and antioxidant bioactive films based on poly(lactic acid)/poly(trimenthylene carbonate) incorporated with different concentrations of oregano essential oil (OEO) were prepared by solvent casting. The antimicrobial, antioxidant, physical, thermal, microstructural, mechanical properties the resulting examined. Scanning electron microscopy analysis revealed that cross-section became rougher when OEO was into PLA/PTMC blends. Differential scanning calorimetry indicated...

Abstract In order to study the effect of fuel Mg and metal oxide CuO on reaction thermite, different proportions Al‐Mg alloys MoO 3 ‐CuO oxides were prepared by mechanical ball milling, then samples Al 1‐x x /(MoO ) composite thermite ultrasonic dispersion method. The characterized SEM, TG‐DSC, constant pressure combustion experiments. results show that in quaternary adding increases initial exothermic temperature, but heat high‐temperature regions, effectively reduces activation energy...

Wall thermal boundary conditions and turbulent models can affect flow combustion simulations but are seldom considered in the modeling of supersonic combustors. This work investigated effect four on a cavity-stabilized scramjet combustor. Results showed that condition had noticeable influence temperature fields. Changing from zero gradient to fixed lower considerably reduced maximum did not distribution. The generated slightly larger reaction heat release near upper region cavity. However,...

Functionalized poly(ethylene dioxythiophene) (f-PEDOT) was copolymerized with two vinyl monomers of different hydrophilicity, acrylic acid and hydroxyethyl methacrylate, to produce electroconductive hydrogels a range physical electronic properties. These not only possessed tailored properties, such as swelling ratios mechanical but also displayed electroactivity dependent on the chemical composition network. Raman spectroscopy indicated that functional PEDOT in is an oxidized form, most...

Abstract Nano‐thermite has become a subject of significant interest in the composite energetic materials field due to its high energy release rate. To cater diverse engineering needs, thermite formulations are often customized fulfill specific criteria. This study investigates potential metal nickel (Ni) as an additive modify nano‐thermite formulations, selected for optimal calorific values and chemical reactivity. The base materials, nano‐aluminum (Al) iron oxide (Fe 2 O 3 ), blended with...

Abstract Reservoir protection in well drilling and completion is one of the most significant challenges that have been connected with quality temporary plugging zone recovery value reservoir permeability when foreign water invaded into copied agents. The regular agents are linked high demand for matching rate about pore throat formation, effect a single, poor environmental performance, etc. which markedly impact operational efficiency. This work reports synthesis characteristic starch-based...

A series of novel temperature-sensitive hydrogels with chiral group, poly(NIPA-co-AAc-L-Phe), were synthesized bycopolymerization N-isopropylacrylamide(NIPA) and acrylic acid derivatived L-phenylalanine (AAc-L-Phe) inethanol different feed ratios. Their swelling behaviors in response to temperature deswelling/reswellingkinetics have been studied. The primary results showed that poly (NIPA-co-AAc-L-Phe) arethermo-responsive potential applications the biological chemistry.
