To answer whether synchronous colorectal cancer liver metastases (SLM) should be resected simultaneously with primary or delayed.Numerous studies have compared both strategies. All were retrospective and conclusions contradictory.Adults resectable SLM randomly assigned to either simultaneous delayed resection of the metastases. The outcome was rate major complications within 60 days following surgery. Secondary outcomes included overall disease-free survival.A total 105 patients recruited....

T cell exclusion causes resistance to cancer immunotherapies via immune checkpoint blockade (ICB). Myeloid cells contribute by expressing signal regulatory protein-α (SIRPα), an inhibitory membrane receptor that interacts with ubiquitous CD47 control macrophage phagocytosis in the tumor microenvironment. Although CD47/SIRPα-targeting drugs have been assessed preclinical models, therapeutic benefit of selectively blocking SIRPα, and not SIRPγ/CD47, humans remains unknown. We report a potent...

Autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) is a rare disease characterized by an immune attack of the liver. This study consists comprehensive analysis alterations related to AIH at diagnosis, and during remission phase under treatment. A total 37 major lymphocyte populations were analyzed from peripheral blood new‐onset patients (AIHn; n = 14), with controlled (n 11), healthy subjects 14). Liver biopsy analyses performed complete phenotypic analysis. Four significantly altered in AIHn diagnosis compared...

To map the colorectal carcinoma (CRC) diseases with significant Wnt signalling pathway activation for delineating their clinicopathological and molecular profiles.Mapping is based on hierarchical clustering analyses of a series 283 CRCs. Data tabulated were histopathological patterns, immunophenotypic differentiation, RAS, RAF, CTNNB1 mutations microsatellite instability status, tumour-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) genetic setting. Beta-catenin expression in more than 10% cell nuclei...
