We calculate the gauge terms of one-loop anomalous dimension matrix for dimension-six operators Standard Model effective field theory (SM EFT). Combining these results with our previous λ and Yukawa coupling completes calculation operators. There are 1350 CP -even 1149 -odd parameters in Lagrangian 3 generations, give entire 2499 × matrix. discuss how renormalization operators, additional d ≤ 4 SM due to lays groundwork future precision studies EFT aimed at constraining effects new physics...
We calculate the complete order y^2 and y^4 terms of 59 x one-loop anomalous dimension matrix for dimension-six operators Standard Model effective field theory, where y is a generic Yukawa coupling. These terms, together with lambda, lambda^2 lambda depending on Higgs self-coupling which were calculated in previous work, yield limit vanishing gauge couplings. The contributions result non-trivial flavor mixing various operator sectors theory.
We calculate the order \lambda, \lambda^2 and \lambda y^2 terms of 59 x one-loop anomalous dimension matrix dimension-six operators, where y are Standard Model Higgs self-coupling a generic Yukawa coupling, respectively. The operators modify running parameters themselves, we compute complete result for this. discuss how there is mixing between which no direct one-particle-irreducible diagram exists, due to operator replacements by equations motion.
We reexamine recent claims that Einstein-frame scattering in the Higgs inflation model is unitary above cut-off energy Λ ≃ M p /ξ. show explicitly how unitarity problems arise both Einstein and Jordan frames of theory. In a covariant gauge they from non-minimal self-couplings, which cannot be removed by field redefinitions because target space not flat. gauge, where there only single scalar can redefined to achieve canonical kinetic terms, through Higgs-gauge couplings.
We outline a method for characterizing deviations from the properties of Standard Model (SM) Higgs boson. apply it to current data in order characterize up which degree SM boson interpretation is consistent with experiment. find that set at 82 % confidence level, based on excess events reported by CMS and ATLAS, are interpreted be related mass scale mh = 124-126 GeV, published CL_s exclusion regions. perform global fit terms two parameters deviation value gauge fermion couplings minima...
We examine the effects of new physics on Higgs sector standard model, focusing self-couplings. demonstrate that a low mass Higgs, ${m}_{h}<2{m}_{t}$, can have strong effective self-coupling due to interaction at TeV. investigate possibility first evidence such an could be Higgs-Higgs bound state. To this end, we construct field theory formalism boson. explore nonrelativistic state (Higgsium) CERN's Large Hadron Collider and is appropriate for studies (NRHET).
A bstract We compute the renormalization of dimension six Higgs-gauge boson operators that can modify h → γγ rate at tree-level. Operator mixing is shown to lead an important modification new physics effects which has been neglected in past calculations. also find usual formula for S oblique parameter contribution these needs additional terms be consistent with group evolution. study implications our results Higgs phenomenology and models attempt explain a deviation rate. derive relation...
A bstract The 8 TeV LHC Higgs search data just released indicates the existence of a scalar resonance with mass ~ 125 GeV. We examine implications reported by ATLAS, CMS and Tevatron collaborations on understanding properties this performing joint fits its couplings to other Standard Model (SM) particles. discuss characterize what degree has SM Higgs, consider can be extracted for New Physics in (mostly) model-independent fashion. find that, if fermions weak vector bosons are allowed differ...
We report codes for the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT) in FeynRules -- SMEFTsim package. We discuss the impact of many previously neglected effects higher dimensional operators when fitting to Electroweak Precision data (EWPD) in Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT). calculate general case $2 \rightarrow 2$ fermion scattering SMEFT order $\mathcal{O}(\bar{v}_T^2/\Lambda^2)$ valid on and off $Z$ pole, massless limit. demonstrate that corrections scale as $\Gamma_Z M_Z/\bar{v}_T^2$ partial widths extracted from measured cross sections at LEPI, compared leading effect...
We develop the global constraint picture in (linear) effective field theory generalisation of Standard Model, incorporating data from detectors that operated at PEP, PETRA, TRISTAN, SpS, Tevatron, SLAC, LEPI and LEP II, as well low energy precision data. fit one hundred three observables. a error metric for this theory, which is required when constraints on parameters leading order power counting are to be pushed percent level, or beyond, unless cut off scale assumed large, $\Lambda \gtrsim...

We present the calculation of CP conserving contributions to Γ(h→γγ), from dimension six operators at one-loop order, in linear standard model effective field theory. discuss impact these corrections on interpreting current and future experimental bounds this decay.
This note proposes common standards and prescriptions for the effective-field-theory interpretation of top-quark measurements at LHC.
In light of the large amount new experimental data, we revisit determination $|{V}_{cb}|$ and ${m}_{b}$ from inclusive semileptonic radiative $B$ decays. We study shape variables to order ${\ensuremath{\Lambda}}_{\mathrm{Q}\mathrm{C}\mathrm{D}}^{3}/{m}_{b}^{3}$ ${\ensuremath{\alpha}}_{s}^{2}{\ensuremath{\beta}}_{0}$, include ${\ensuremath{\alpha}}_{s}{\ensuremath{\Lambda}}_{\mathrm{Q}\mathrm{C}\mathrm{D}}/{m}_{b}$ correction hadron mass spectrum in decay, which improves agreement with data....
The Standard Model (SM) prediction of the top quark forward backward asymmetry is shown to be slightly enhanced by a correction factor 1.05 due electroweak Sudakov (EWS) logarithms form (\alpha/sin^2 \theta_W)^n log^{m< 2n} (s/M_{W,Z}^2). EWS effect on dijet and t \bar{t} invariant mass spectra significant, reducing SM ~20, 10 % respectively for highest masses measured at LHC, changing shape high-mass tail spectrum. These corrections significantly affect measurements spectrum search an...
