Abstract The circular economy in the area of waste management implies their re‐use as a raw material different production cycles. Both qualitative and quantitative characteristics residues from agro sector those products ceramics make possible to think feasible application. This review will illustrate some examples recycling deriving animal vegetable sectors (and two post consume products, spent coffee grounds, packaging glass cullet), studied by authors, falling within concept urban...

The aim of this work is to study the structural characteristics and properties solid solution (Al,Cr) 2 O 3 . XRD analysis, 27 Al MAS‐NMR measurements, microstructural characterization were used determine relationship between color crystallochemical compounds formed. In particular, more accurately mechanism formation above miscibility gap system, marker technique was used. order define behavior system for temperatures below at 1 bar pressure, composition :Cr 1:1 studied with high‐temperature XRD.

Abstract In this study proteins extracted from prepupae of Hermetia illucens , also known as black soldier fly, are investigated promising base for a new type bioplastics agricultural purposes. Design experiments techniques employed to perform rational on the effects different combination glycerol plasticizer, citric acid cross‐linking agent and distilled water solvent capability form free‐standing film through casting technique, keeping fixed quantity proteins. Glycerol shows interesting...

Nanocrystalline Pr-doped ceria powders were prepared for the first time by a microwave-assisted hydrothermal route. The effect of microwave treatment in relation to conventional technique was evaluated. samples characterized terms composition, crystalline structure, particle shape and size distribution X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy (TEM) specific surface area analysis (BET). color properties these solid solutions also evaluated as function synthesis conditions...

Few papers deal with High Velocity Oxygen-Fuel (HVOF) sprayed ceramics. This two-part study thoroughly compares HVOF Al2O3, nanostructured Cr2O3 to Atmospheric Plasma Sprayed (APS) ones. The first part discusses microstructure and micromechanics. HVOF-sprayed ceramics achieve superior cohesion (lower porosity lower average pore area). Size effects in Vickers microindentation tests are different for APS At 1 N load, hardness is higher coatings (no cracking). Under 5 10 loads, decreases...
