Within the research community, there is a vigorous debate over whether additional educational expenditures will lead to improved performance of schools. Some an outgrowth lack causal knowledge impacts on student outcomes. To help fill this void, we examine impact capital school district proficiency rates in Michigan. For analysis, employ regression discontinuity design where use outcomes bond elections as forcing variable. Our results provide some evidence that can have positive effects levels.
