Abstract Simple, inexpensive, preformed vanadium‐Schiff base complexes were facilely prepared and used in enantioselective sulfoxidation. Both the amount of aqueous H 2 O reaction time greatly influenced ee values yields chiral sulfoxides. High enantioselectivities (up to 99% ee) reasonable (>40%) for various sulfoxides achieved by combining sulfoxidation appropriate concomitant kinetic resolution.
