Spur gears are widely used in industry where the power transmission is required at heavy loads with smoother and noiseless operation. The study this paper shows that complex design problem of spur gear requires superior software skills for modeling analysis. been has solved using Pro/E ANSYS which provides equivalent results to AGMA. In paper, was modeled Pro/Engineer wildfire 4.0 stress analysis carried out 11.0. obtained from both AGMA FEM were compared found be approximately similar.
