In the present investigation, alginate nanoparticles have been prepared and characterised by various techniques such as FTIR, SEM, particle size analysis surface charge measurements. It was found from both SEM that average of about 40 nm. The particles were loaded with insulin release kinetics studied in PBS medium. results indicated when percent loading increases 11.7 to 38.9, released amount increased 18% 60% drug. effect composition nanoparticles, pH temperature medium examined on...

A series of polycrystalline ${\mathrm{Li}}_{\mathrm{x}}$${\mathrm{Ni}}_{1\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}\mathrm{x}}$O is prepared by a solid-state route for x ranging from 0.1 to 0.5. The Rietveld profile refinement x-ray powder-diffraction data shows that the samples with x\ensuremath{\geqslant}0.3 apparently possess two types atomic arrangement in cationic plane direction perpendicular cubic 〈111〉 parent lattice NiO. Low-field linear and nonlinear ac susceptibility dc magnetization measurements...

A frequency-dependent sharp peak in ac susceptibility $({\ensuremath{\chi}}_{\mathrm{ac}})$ was found ${\mathrm{Li}}_{0.5}{\mathrm{Ni}}_{0.5}\mathrm{O}$ around 110 K having an unusual magnetic-field (H) dependence. Temperature variation of first- and third-order ${\ensuremath{\chi}}_{\mathrm{ac}}$ have shown good agreement with Wohlfarth's model (WM) for superparamagnetism (SP) but unusually low value anisotropy constant to saturation magnetization ratio ${(2K/M}_{S}).$ simple is proposed...

Abstract The aim of this investigation was to design iron oxide containing nanocomposites which could display superparamagnetic behavior and thus find application in biomedical allied fields. To achieve the proposed objectives methyl methacrylate polymerized by a redox system comprising metabisulphite persulphate immediate presence crosslinker, N,N′ ‐methylene bis acrylamide preformed polymer, i.e., polyvinyl alcohol. Into prepared polymer matrix nanosized magnetite (Fe 3 O 4 ) particles...

Polyethylene glycol (PEG)-based semi-IPNs have been widely used as hydrogel matrices in tissue engineering applications because of their inherent hydrophilicity and biocompatibility. Today, synthetic scaffolds are being allied they offer the ability to precisely control mechanical properties, morphology, blood compatibility materials. In this regard, an attempt has made develop membranes by judiciously combining PEG, polyvinyl alcohol, polymethyl methacrylate. The so prepared were undertaken...

Practical applications of the spintronic material CrO2 have been limited, primarily because difficulty in its synthesis, as it is not known to form ambient pressures a pure form. Here we show that can be prepared by simple route bypasses need either apply any external pressure or measure and control during synthesis. These samples only exhibit saturation magnetization (MS) values close theoretical predicted one, but also substantially enhanced grain size, at least an order magnitude larger...

Intergranular conduction in half metallic ${\mathrm{CrO}}_{2}$ is known to occur through a combination of spin dependent tunneling [driven by Coulomb blockade (CB) effects] together with certain independent (SI) hopping processes. We present evidence that polycrystalline enhanced grain size, both these process (CB effect and SI hopping) are suppressed the functional form conductance best described fluctuation-induced (FIT) below $200\phantom{\rule{0.3em}{0ex}}\mathrm{K}$. Micro-Hall magnetometry is employed to study the magnetization dynamics of a single, micron-size CrO2 grain. With this technique, we track motion single domain wall, which allows us probe distribution imperfections throughout material. An external magnetic field along grain’s easy direction induces reversal, giving rise series sharp jumps in magnetization. Supported by micromagnetic simulations, identify transition state with cross-tie where pinning/depinning wall results stochastic Barkhausen jumps.

Abstract A new and simpler technique is described for the study of kinetics adsorption poly(methylmethacrylale) (PPMA) on a glass surface at 30°C. The were followed gravimetrically by knowing amount polymer adsorbed balls various time intervals. simple kinetic model rate has been proposed, from scheme outlined parameters such as coefficient, coverage film thickness have evaluated. Metastable magnetism is observed in two important compounds (those with x = 0.35 and 0.5) of the LixNi1-xO series, similar experimental features found bulk susceptibility measurements. For each these compositions, a frequency dependence first-order alternating-current (ac) (χ1), negative peak third-order ac (χ3), field-cooled/zero-field-cooled bifurcation direct-current magnetization were seen. We have used χ3 to discern nature metastability for samples. find that 0.35, becomes critical as...
