Abstract Background Few studies in Latin America have explored mental disorder among young offenders, or variables associated with it. Aims Our aim was to test for associations between childhood adversity substance misuse and psychiatric disorders offenders. Methods Sentenced adolescent offenders were recruited from offenders' institutions community centres provided by the Chilean National Service Minors. Psychiatric assessed using Mini International Neuropsychiatric Interview, conducted...

Distinct sources of stress have emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic. Particularly, fear is expected to generate significant psychological burden on individuals and influence either unsafe behavior that may hinder recovery efforts or virus-mitigating behaviors. However, little known about properties measures capture them in research clinical settings. To resolve this gap, we evaluated psychometric a novel measure illness viruses tested its predictive value for future development distress. We...

Abstract Nowadays, research on electromagnetic devices increasingly focuses multiphysics three‐dimensional complex systems. However, this kind of simulations require huge computational resources and consequently very high CPU time. Ristagno et al. proposed a level‐set based method allowing meshing step savings in any iterative processes (as movement modeling or optimization processes). The lies implicit description moving fronts as described the study by Osher (1988). Inspired Räisänen al.,...

This paper presents a hybrid magnetic model combining reluctance network and Laplace's equation resolution using vector potential in the air gap. The coupling of two models is performed by introducing fictive equivalent magnetomotive forces applied to study dc machines used as starter automotive application. Good results are obtained compared with finite-element experimental measurements.
