Acidic oxygen evolution reaction (OER) is a major limitation of practical hydrogen production from water electrolysis. Here, we developed an interfacial electron modulation strategy on the basis Ir-Co3O4 hybrids to build anomaly OH-rich catalyst-electrolyte layer for efficient OER. Our theoretical studies predict that accumulation preferentially occurs O near Ir sites, which confirmed via X-ray based and advanced microscopy characterization. The accumulated density up 20.0 e/Å2 according...

New bounds for the Perron root ρ(A) of a positive matrix A are proposed. Let R1≥R2≥⋯≥Rn be row sums listed in descending order. We use pairwise combination method to prove that min1≤k≤j{(1−t)Rk+tRn−k+1}≤ρ(A)≤max1≤k≤j{tRk+(1−t)Rn−k+1},with j=⌈n/2⌉, t=M/(M+m), and M (respectively m) is maximum (resp. minimum) entry A. This result improves well-known Rn≤ρ(A)≤R1, same can also used improve several other known bounds.
