We studied post-fire long-term regeneration of a south-western Turkey (Antalya region) forest using the synchronical approach. analysed species richness patterns and vegetation diversity. Species were grouped according to plant functional types special emphasis was given seeders resprouters. recorded two peaks, with highest immediately following fire second peak 7 years after disturbance. Beta diversity decreased over time but also showed peaks. The results our floristic survey show that...
Abstract The most extensive and magnificent forests of Cedrus libani A. Rich. in the world are on Taurus Mountains Turkey. They cover an area about 400,000 hectares. C. forms either pure stands or mixed with other tree species, such as Abies cilicica, Pinus nigra, P. brutia, Quercus species (Q. cerris, Q. infectoria, etc.), Juniperus excelsa J. foetidissima. In this work, floristic composition cedar Western Antalya has been investigated ecological factors have measured. main forest types...
The paper deals with the classification of plant communities that appear along postfire succession Pinus brutia forests (Turkish red pine). research took place in Antalya region southern part Turkey. Samplings were performed nine areas, different periods after fire: 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 12, 20, 40 years, and a mature forest an estimated age 60 years. Numerical ordination analysis used to determine understand temporal changes. vegetation showed separate can be distinguished line. It was found...
Erzurum ili sınırları içerisinde bulunan, “C” ve “B” tipi mesire yeri özelliğine sahip 7 adet Orman İçi Dinlenme Yerinin (OİDY), rekreasyonel potansiyelinin belirlenmesi, eksikliklerin tespit edilmesi yeni önerilen alan kullanımlarının belirlenerek bu konuda çözümlerin ortaya konulması amacıyla, çalışma yapılmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında İspir-Hoşutlar, Oltu-Uzunoluk, Olur-Akdağ, Horasan-Fidanlık, Uzundere-Zuvarboğazı, Şenkaya-H. Mehmet Sırma ile Narman-Göllü OİDY alanlarına, bölgenin mevsim...
Vegetational zonation within temporal ponds in the western Taurus Mountains of South – West Anatolia, Turkey and changes along altitudinal gradients was studied. Two show different filtering effects magnitude influence on floristic composition Mediterranenan pools. Classification gave five clusters that represented ecologically meaningful communities according to moisture gradient classified into Ranunculo argyrei-Tanacetea argentei (Sedo naniConvolvuletalia galactici), Stellarietea mediae...
Abstract This paper contains the original diagnoses of new syntaxa and typifications existing names from “Classification plant communities along post-fire succession in Pinus brutia stands southern Antalya (Turkey)” that was published Turkish Journal Botany. As journal has only on-line version according to ICPN descriptions are not valid. We described syntaxa: Eryngio falcati-Securigerion securidacae all. nova, Ajugo chiae-Lactucetum serriolae ass. Phlomido grandiflorae-Cistetum salvifolii...
