In this paper, according to the multi-channel model of fractionally spaced linear equalizers, symbol-spaced adaptive decision feedback equalizers (ADFE) are extended (FSADFE). This paper proposes a novel 2×1 Multiple Input Single Output (MISO) single-carrier broadcasting scheme. scheme is backward compatible to the existing Carrier (SC) systems. The performances of proposed system are compared with those (SISO) digital television terrestrial (DTTB) SC system, selective-gain-combination receiving diversity and MISO/SISO orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) schemes.
