This paper focuses on YOLO-LITE, a real-time object detection model developed to run portable devices such as laptop or cellphone lacking Graphics Processing Unit (GPU). The was first trained the PASCAL VOC dataset then COCO dataset, achieving mAP of 33.81% and 12.26% respectively. YOLO-LITE runs at about 21 FPS non-GPU computer 10 after implemented onto website with only 7 layers 482 million FLOPS. speed is 3.8 × faster than fastest state art model, SSD MobilenetvI. Based original algorithm...
PVDF microporous membranes were prepared via thermally induced phase separation (TIPS) method. γ‐Butyrolactone (γ‐BA), Propylene carbonate (PC), Dibutyl phthalate (DBP) and sebacate (KD) used as diluents, ethanol extractant. The melting temperatures crystallization of different PVDF/diluent systems determined using difference scanning calorimeter (DSC). Membrane cross‐section morphologies from observed electron microscope (SEM). effects diluent, cooling rate, polymer concentration on the...
In this project, competition-winning deep neural networks with pretrained weights are used for image-based gender recognition and age estimation. Transfer learning is explored using both VGG19 VGGFace models by testing the effects of changes in various design schemes training parameters order to improve prediction accuracy. Training techniques such as input standardization, data augmentation, label distribution encoding compared. Finally, a hierarchy CNNs tested that first classifies...
Coastal wetlands, crucial for global biodiversity and climate adaptation, provide essential ecosystem services such as carbon storage flood protection. These vital areas are increasingly threatened by both natural human-induced changes, prompting the need advanced monitoring techniques. This study employs unmanned aerial systems (UASs) equipped with light detection ranging (LiDAR) multispectral sensors to survey diverse wetland types across 8 sites in North Carolina. Utilizing...
Abstract PVDF membranes were prepared via thermally induced phase separation method (TIPS). Two series of mixed solvents used as diluents, and they composed γ‐butyrolactone(γ‐BA)/cyclohexanone(CO) or cyclohexanone(CO)/dibutylphthalate(DBP), respectively. In this paper, all the membrane formation processes only went through solid‐liquid separation. The polymer melting/crystallization temperature in different diluent was determined using differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). effect diluents...
Age estimation from digital pictures of the face is a very promising research field that now receiving wide attention. As with any good problem, age-estimation wrought many challenging interactions cannot easily be separated out. In general, aging patterns are well understood for all humans, however, these become confounded by intrinsic factors genetics, gender differences, and ethnic deviations and, equally as important, extrinsic environment behavior choices (i.e. sun exposure, drugs,...
Poly(phthalazinone-ether-sulfone) (PPES) polymer is a relatively newly developed material with bis(4-fluorodiphenyl) sulfone group. The formation of the PPES membrane by wet-phase inversion can proceed according to slow or fast gelation method. These mechanisms were studied experimentally. resulting morphology was investigated using both optical and scanning electron micrography. effects concentration two additives, polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) oxalic acid (OA), on apparent viscosity rate...
Abstract The bipolar membranes were prepared by charged material of polysulfone as a base. composed solvent‐resistant anion exchange layer with crosslinking matrix the reaction chloromethylated in DMF diamine, an interfacial made from solution containing cation resin and amine, sulfonated dispersing powder. membrane can exhibit lower voltage drop over 100 mA/cm 2 . critical requirement for producing low potential is creation thin region electrical resistance suitable chemical structure,...
