A composite Na/Fe and SiO<sub>2</sub>-coated HZSM-5 catalyst system has been developed for the highly selective production of aromatics (93–95%), especially <italic>para</italic>-xylene, in liquid phase light olefins gas from CO<sub>2</sub>.
