In this paper an ARIMA model is used for time-series forecast involving wind speed measurements. Results are compared with the performance of a back propagation type NNT. show that better than NNT short time-intervals to (10 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours and 4 hours). Data was acquired from unit located in Southern Andalusia (Pentildeaflor, Sevilla), soft orography minutes between measurements). This feature which makes very similar, so simple forecasting could be order administrate energy...

In this article, a systematic literature review of 153 articles on power quality analysis in PV systems published the last 20 years is presented. This provides readers with an overview PQ trends several fields related to instrumental techniques that are being used smart grid visualize energy, establishing solid base from which start future research. A preliminary appreciation allows us intuit higher-order statistics not implemented measurement equipment and traditional instrumentation still...

Present distribution networks have not been designed to accept extensive Distributed Generation (DG). The present framework may change in the near future impelled by a worldwide increase DG penetration grids. mutual dependency of energy and communications on same grid requires new means for effectively monitoring controlling both systems parallel. Relaying control IEDs can also serve as measurement units power quality. Synchronized Measurement Technology (SMT) has potential becoming backbone...

This paper presents a proof-of-concept of versatile Power Quality (PQ) analyser for tracking the voltage supply in industrial and residential sectors. It implements 2D Higher-Order Statistics (HOS) to assess quality, based more on sinusoidal waveform than power fluctuations. Beyond second-order parameters permissible deviations regulated by norm, EN 50160, two-dimensional traces probability density functions, along with previously studied differential index, manage identify different states...

ABSTRACT This letter presents a novel method for power quality event detection using higher‐order statistical indicators and rule‐based decision trees. The achieves up to 90% efficiency in the most challenging cases excels hybrid classification, increasingly common modern grids. Its simplicity enables fast execution real‐time applicability, making it robust complement traditional visualization tools.
