This work reports a Raman study of graphene bilayer samples grown by chemical vapor deposition on copper foil, using laser lines in the UV range. The spectra show number extra peaks, classified different families, which appear nonuniformly across Cu surface, regions with sizes several $\ensuremath{\mu}$m. We interpret these new modes as due to Moir\'e patterns twisted layers graphene, each family peaks being associated twist rotational angles. theoretically analyze results, introducing...

Double-walled carbon nanotubes (DWNTs) prepared by catalytic chemical vapour deposition were functionalized in such a way that they optimally designed as nano-vector for the delivery of small interfering RNA (siRNA), which is great interest biomedical research and drug development. DWNTs initially oxidized coated with polypeptide (Poly(Lys:Phe)), was then conjugated to thiol-modified siRNA using heterobifunctional cross-linker. The obtained oxDWNT–siRNA characterized Raman spectroscopy...

Abstract Carbon nanotubes (CNT) provide a smart carrier system on the nanometer scale. The can be used as template for ferromagnetic fillers. Such molecular hybrid is promising potential candidate controlled heating of tumour tissue at cellular level. This key reason why it important to optimize synthesis route metal filled carbon with regards bulk scale and purity. In current study we present multiwalled α‐iron phase (Fe‐MWCNT). influence acid treatment stability filling sample purity also...

The effect of ${}^{13}$C isotope impurities on the phonon properties graphene is discussed theoretically. We calculated values lifetimes due to impurity scattering for all densities, isotopic masses, and wave vectors using second-order perturbation theory. found that natural concentrations ${}^{13}$C, contribution lifetime optical modes negligible when compared electron-phonon interaction. Nevertheless, atomic as high $\ensuremath{\rho}=0.5$ both contributions become comparable. Our results...

In the present study we report resonance Raman on multiwalled carbon nanotubes treated with HCl, HNO 3 and H 2 SO 4 .Acids are commonly used in purification procedures order to remove catalyst particles from as-produced material. However, it is known that acid treatments can induce a surface functionalisation intercalation of walls, modifying their electronic properties. Here, comparative between samples modified most common acids materials, influence treatment time vibronic properties.The...
