Arboviruses, including Zika (ZIKV) and Chikungunya virus (CHIKV), replicate in both arthropods vertebrates are transmitted through mosquito, tick, sandfly bites. The development of specific antiviral drugs vaccines for these viruses is limited, highlighting the importance investigating potential drug candidates. In this study, we examined effects hydroxy-triazole-based compounds on vitro replication ZIKV CHIKV. Hydroxy-1,2,3-triazoles were synthesized from 4-acyl-1,2,3-triazoles, previously...
Background: The potentiator VX-770 (ivacaftor) has been approved as a monotherapy for over 95 cystic fibrosis (CF)-causing variants associated with gating/conductance defects of the CF transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) channel. However, despite its therapeutic success, only partially restores CFTR activity many these variants, indicating they may benefit from combination potentiators exhibiting distinct mechanisms action (i.e., co-potentiators). We previously identified LSO-24,...
In the current research, we discuss a direct, solvent, and metal-free telescopic- reaction to obtain 4-acyl-1,2,3-triazoles from available acetophenones aryl azides for faster more economical methodology 4-acyl-1,2,3-triazoles. Thirty-six compounds were obtained in 40-82% yields without need transition metals or toxic solvents as well purification by chromatography column. This paper also explores application of these precursor bioactive 4-hydroxy-1,2,3-triazoles which with 72-92% yield....
The focus of this research is on using a silica-based adsorbent with α-aminobis(methylenephosphonic acid) groups grafted onto it to selectively extract rare earth elements (REEs) from acidic mineral solutions, such as the leaching solution red lamp phosphor waste. XPS, FTIR, and solid-state NMR spectra provided evidence successful immobilization target active sites silica surfaces. In order recover REEs model aqueous solutions that had an excess 22 interfering ions in 0.5 mol L-1 NaCl, was...
This study is devoted to the application of a novel silica-based adsorbent with covalently immobilized fragments α-aminobis(methylenephosphonic acid) for selective recovery rare earth elements (REEs) from acidic mineral solutions, including leaching solution phosphor waste. The XPS, FTIR and solid-state NMR spectra provided evidence successful immobilization target on silica surface. was used in dispersive solid phase extraction mode recover REEs model aqueous solutions containing an excess...
