The conventional surface reflection method has been widely used to measure the asphalt pavement layer dielectric constant using ground-penetrating radar (GPR). This may be inaccurate for in-service thickness estimation with variation through depth, which could addressed extended common mid-point (XCMP) air-coupled GPR antennas. However, factors affecting XCMP on prediction accuracy haven't studied. Manual acquisition of key is required, hinders its real-time applications. study investigates...

Detection of delamination in asphalt pavement by non-destructive ground penetrating radar (GPR) is useful for effective maintenance and repair. However, limitations GPR survey resolution multiple wave interferences have made thin layer characterization a challenging task conventional common offset profiling (COP) mode. In this paper, new method proposed characterizing layers using the waveguide dispersion model wide-angle reflection refraction (WARR) configuration. The approach was validated...

Cold in-place recycling (CIR) of asphalt concrete pavement is a rehabilitation technique that widely applied by many states. The CIR process thought to be economical and sustainable. One the limitations this identifying moisture content layer allow for traffic opening placing overlay. In paper, feasibility monitoring mixtures during curing using ground-penetrating radar (GPR) was investigated. Several tests, including GPR surveys, lightweight deflectometer, dynamic cone penetrometer, sand...

Production of porous and light-weight thermal insulation materials with reduced conductivity raised porosity were accomplished using sludge (SL) sugar filter mud (SFM) as pore-forming agent respectively composite (CPFA) at different sintered temperature holding time. The results flexural strength 7.65 MPa 0.056 W•m -1 •K , obtained 1000 °C for 0.5 h show that its the factor to 40.60% bulk density decreased down 1.265 g/cm 3 CPFA, closed dense structure in sample was observed by SEM
