This paper introduces a coupling matrix synthesized filtering power amplifier (PA). In conventional PAs, impedance matching is usually implemented through lumped or distributed circuits based approaches, such as the even-odd mode analysis equivalent circuit transformation. However, they are difficult to be applied in three-dimensional (3D) circuits, where exist electric/magnetic resonances and mutual couplings. Herein, general <inline-formula xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"...
In this letter, a novel five-pole monoblock dielectricresonator (MDR) bandpass filter with two transmission zeroes (TZs) based on the compact stacked configuration is proposed. The TZ pair introduced great flexibility and can be readily allocated at either or both sides of passband only few dimension adjustments. proposed has simple fabrication process tuning since there no need to weld assemble cavities. A 2.6-GHz symmetric 150-MHz bandwidth fabricated. Measurement results show good...
A new low-pass prototype, i.e., cascade hybrid triplet (CHT), is proposed in this article. This triplet, as a synthesis building block, offers two arbitrary-placed transmission zeros (TZs) to suppress the target frequency area or produce complex TZ pair flatten group delay. The CHT can be used accurately synthesize and design three types of real circuit configurations, double-dangled extracted-pole section (DDEPS), coupled-resonator-dangled (CDEPS), frequency-dependent (FDT) with asymmetric...
In this study, a broadband and high gain dielectric‐rod end‐fire antenna are proposed for applications on both the K Ka bands. By employing double‐ridged waveguide (DRW) feeding structure which is composed of coaxial line to tapered DRW transition, parabolic DRW, parabolic‐tapered flared parallel section, impedance bandwidth broadened 84.5%. The with double circular truncated cone acted as main radiator adopted achieve higher gains lower side‐lobe levels compared traditional dielectric‐rod,...
This article proposes the first single-element-controlled tunable waveguide diplexer (SC-TWD) with quasi-contiguous channels. The systematic design methodology for proposed SC-TWD, including practical synthesis theory and implementation method, is presented demonstrated by a prescribed design. In detail, method can be used to extract element variable coupling matrix (EVCM) according given specifications. Based on extracted EVCM, we develop realization techniques both resonator tuning...
Two Dual-band dual-mode wearable antennas for body-centric communications working in the 2.45 and 5.8 GHz Industrial, Scientific Medical bands are presented. Through excitation of a higher-order mode resonant at GHz, planar inverted-F antenna (PIFA) monopole operating become dual-band dual-mode, which diversifies their application range. The two designs fabricated experimentally validated, implying that both promising various wireless communication systems.
This article proposes a new class of tunable ceramic-monoblock bandpass filters (BPFs) with constant selectivity for 5G applications. We develop the mechanical-tunable resonator (MTCR), which provides filter compact size and good <inline-formula xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$Q_{u}$ </tex-math></inline-formula> performance. The coupling feeding structures are investigated to allow realization cascade...
