Background: Degenerative tendon changes are common as people age, which can increase the likelihood of tendinous injuries. The outcomes repairing hamstring avulsions in patients >40 years after a rehabilitation protocol without postoperative bracing relatively unknown. Purpose: To assess functional and determine rerupture rate surgical repair complete proximal while following nonbracing protocol. Study Design: Case series; Level evidence, 4. Methods: A total 27 with acute, underwent...

Abstract Background Effective interventions for Multiple Sclerosis require timely treatment optimization which usually involves switching disease modifying therapies. The patterns of prescription and the reasons changing in people with MS, especially low prevalence populations, are unknown. Objectives To describe persistence, DMT switches a cohort Colombian MS. Methods We conducted retrospective observational study including patients confirmed MS at least one visit our centre. estimated...

Introduction: Seizures related to metabolic disorders are common phenomena in many clinical contexts. However, manifestations and neuroimaging findings the context of a hyperglycemic crisis less frequent with unclear pathophysiology.Case report: A 68-year-old man presented focal seizures right homonymous hemianopsia after non-ketotic crisis. Brain MRI showed cortical diffusion restriction subcortical T2 / FLAIR hypointensity left occipital, temporal (mesial) parietal lobes. Spectroscopy was...

Abstract Effective interventions for treating multiple sclerosis (MS) require prompt treatment optimization which usually involves switching disease modifying drugs (DMDs). The patterns of prescription and the reasons changes, especially in low prevalence populations, are unknown. We aimed to describe persistence, DMD switches as well their associated factors using survival network analysis. 701 cases were included 94% received treatment. 29.9%, 18.7% 11.9% patients had one, two three or...

We study the dominant decays of lightest Higgs boson in models with 2 and 3 doublets, for case when its couplings to fermions are absent at tree-level.It is found that branching ratio decay H → γγ above one into fermion pairs, which evaluated also 1-loop level.

We study the effects on leptonic asymmetries A_{FB}, A_{pol} and A_{LR} coming from a model of compositeness. consider self-energies vertex correction to $Z l^+ l^-$. Thus we use Altarelli parametrization oblique corrections. get asymptotic limits these corrections in terms parameters $(m^*, Λ, f, f')$ bounds for quotient $m^*/Λ$ with different values $(f, f')$. conclude that both produce such when $f'$ overweigth $f$, this fact is related breakdown custodial symmetry.
