Necrolytic migratory erythema (NME) occurs in approximately 70% of patients with glucagonoma syndrome. Excessive stimulation metabolic pathways by hyperglucagonemia, which leads to hypoaminoacidemia, contributes NME pathogenesis. However, the molecular pathogenesis and relationships between abnormalities clinical symptoms remain unclear. A 53-year-old woman was referred our hospital a generalized rash weight loss. diagnosed histopathological examination skin biopsy tissue. Laboratory tests...
Proliferating trichilemmal tumour (PTT) is a rare and usually benign dermal or subcutaneous neoplasm. Some PTTs are difficult to clinically diagnose since the clinical differential diagnoses of PTT range from conditions, such as epidermal cyst, malignant skin tumours, basal cell carcinoma (BCC), squamous (SCC), [1-3]. The lack distinguishing dermoscopic sonographic characteristics reported in literature prompted us report case [...]
We aimed to elucidate the dermoscopic vasculature of patients with Bowen Disease (BD) that was misdiagnosed as chronic eczema and had branched and/or reticular vessels after topical steroid application. The medical records 19 BD on upper trunk were retrospectively reviewed for use history, vascular structure observed in dermoscopy, corresponding histological findings. Four treated strong steroids showed remarkable dermoscopy. Histopathology partial epidermal atrophy irregular thin elongation...
