Low-rank coals, biomass, and heavy petroleum are typical carbon resources, which currently not efficiently used, many processes for the current use of resources cause severe environmental pollution with very limited economic benefits even a great deficit. Efficiently using can greatly improve environment create huge benefits. The main difficulty in is high content aromatic rings (ARs) heteroatoms addition to insoluble complex macromolecular structures resources. Catalytic hydroconversion...

Coal-based porous materials for supercapacitors were successfully prepared using Taixi anthracite (TXA) by multi-stage activation. The characterization and electrochemical tests of activated carbons (ACs) in different stages demonstrated that the AC from third-stage activation (ACIII) shows good structures excellent performances. ACIII exhibited a fine specific capacitance 199 F g-1 at current density 1 A three-electrode system, with 6 mol L-1 KOH as electrolyte. remained 190 even despite...

To extend the applications of graphene and improve cyclic life valve-regulated lead acid (VRLA) batteries applied in hybrid electric vehicles, has been added to negative active materials VRLA batteries. The influence on electrodes valve- regulated lead-acid during high-rate partial-state-of-charge cycling investigated by galvanostatic charge/discharge tests, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction voltammetry. Results suggest that addition can diminish charge cut-off voltage, boost...

Shengli lignite was subjected to thermal dissolution in a methanol/benzene mixed solvent at 240°C for 1 h. The soluble fraction sequentially eluted with petroleum ether and 5, 10, 15% carbon disulfide/petroleum solvents through silica gel-packed column afford fractions 4 (EF1 EF4). In total, 15 methyl alkanones from C15 C27, including 2 side-chain 13 straight-chain were enriched EF4 identified gas chromatography/mass spectrometry.

One of the key factors to improve electrochemical properties is find exceptional electrode materials. In this work, nickel-cobalt layered double hydroxide (CNT@CoS/NiCo-LDH) with structure a hollow nanocage was prepared by etching CNT@CoS zeolitic imidazolate framework-67 (ZIF-67) as template. The results show that addition nickel has great influence on structure, morphology and chemical material CNT@CoS/NiCo-LDH-100 (C@CS/NCL-100) inherited rhombic dodecahedral shape ZIF-67 well CNTs were...

Shenfu subbituminous coal (SFSBC) and pretreated SFSBC with H2O2 were subjected to oxidation NaOCl at 30°C for 5 h. The results show that the pretreatment significantly increased yields of water-soluble species (WSS), especially benzene carboxylic acids (BCA) long-chain alkanedioic (LCADA), but substantially inhibited formation chloro-substituted alkanoic acids. introduction oxygen functional groups by (LCADA) could be responsible increase in WSS, BCA LCADA.
