Dust emitted from mining, ore processing, and tailing dumps have direct effects on miners who work close to these operations. The Gol-E-Gohar (GEG) mining industrial company is one of the most important iron concentrate producers in Middle East. objective present study was estimate distribution, fractionation, oral bioaccessibility potentially toxic elements (PTEs) dust generated by GEG company. Total PTE content including Al, As, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Hg, Mn, Mo, Ni, Pb, V, Zn quantified for...

This study identified concentrations, molecular distributions, toxicities, and sources of polycylic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in street dust from different land use Bushehr city southwest Iran. For this purpose, 19 samples were collected the analyzed using GC–MS. Σ16PAHs (16 USEPA priority PAHs) concentrations ranged between 73.6 9491 µg kg−1, with a mean 1116.02 kg−1. The high-molecular-weight (HMW) PAHs (4–6 rings), that make 65.22% total, dominant almost all samples. In northern part...

The kinetic parameters of adenosine deaminase such as Km and Ki were determined in the absence presence adenine derivatives (R1–R24) sodium phosphate buffer (50 mM; pH 7.5) solution at 27°C. These used for QSAR analysis. As such, we found some theoretical descriptors to which binding affinity (ADA) towards several nucleosides inhibitors is correlated. analysis has revealed that upon interaction with ADA depends on molecular volume, dipole moment molecule, electric charge around N1 atom,...

Several priority environmental mutagens and carcinogenic compounds were investigated in Ahwaz metropolis soil to estimate the extent of contamination risk they pose human health. This included determination total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPHs) polycyclic aromatic (PAHs) 58 92 industrial samples, respectively, using gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS). The results indicate that TPHs range between 1.2 11,000 mg kg−1, with a mean 999 while PAHs concentration vary 6 47,103 µg 1241 kg−1....

The occurrence of microplastics (MPs) was investigated in the Arvand River (Iran). (200 Km) is a major water body that flows through land with diverse use and it meets Persian Gulf. MPs abundance measured 24 stations located along river, sediment, ranged between 1 291 items L -1 70 to 15620 kg (dw). majority were fibres, black/gray yellow/orange color, mainly 250 - 500 µm > 1000 μm size. Polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polypropylene (PP), nylon (NYL), high-density polyethylene (HDPE),...
