Photoinduced energy transfer in poly(trimethylene terephthalate) (PTT) was investigated by examining its excitation wavelength and concentration dependences of fluorescence solutions. Accordingly, critical quench trap formation were identified. Besides, studies temperature effect on photoluminescence (PL) behavior amorphous PTT film from −183 to +177 °C revealed that both phosphorescence emissions at low can be attributed monomers traps. Phosphorescence quenching originated the discontinuous...

Dynamic processes of isothermally cold-crystallized poly(trimethylene terephthalate) (PTT) was investigated by fluorescence spectroscopy its amorphous region. The key issue lay in the fact that emission at 390 nm originating from main chain phenylene ring phase correlated to cold-crystallization. A reduction this peak intensity corresponded a gradual transition crystal Accordingly, molecular movement and structure evolution PTT course cold-crystallization were carefully revealed....

The dynamic process of cold crystallization amorphous poly(trimethylene terephthalate) (PTT) was investigated with resonance light scattering (RLS). By using an enhanced peak at 329 nm, which in close proximity to the absorption band PTT film, density fluctuation due gradual transition from crystalline increasing temperature monitored. Accordingly, molecular chains movement and structure evolution during crystallization, particular, information about each phase including induction,...

Abstract A series of random copolymers were synthesized by the bulk polycondensation dimethyl terephthalate with ethylene glycol (EG) and propane‐1,3‐diol (PDO) in various compositions. Their composition thermal properties investigated. The 57.7 mol % or more PDO 14.4 less crystallizable, but those 36–46.2 amorphous. nonisothermal crystallization behavior was investigated varying cooling rates DSC. Poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) poly(trimethylene (PTT) homopolymers have relatively lower...

Abstract The novel silicone‐modified polyacrylate reactive diluents for UV/moisture dual‐curable coatings were synthesized from N,N ‐bis[3‐(trimethoxysilyl)propyl]amine and multifunctional acrylates such as ethoxylated trimethylolpropane triacrylate polyethyleneglycol diacrylate through Michael addition reaction. Their structures characterized by NMR FTIR their average molecular weights determined vapor pressure osmometry. With FTIR, it was found that the obtained could be cured both UV...

Abstract The dynamic rheology and morphology of poly(trimethylene terephthalate) maleic anhydride grafted poly(ethylene octene) composites were investigated. A specific viscoelastic phenomenon, that is, a second plateau, appeared at low frequencies exhibited certain dependence on the content elastomer particles temperature. This phenomenon was attributed to formation an aggregation structure rubber particles. analyses functions suggested heterogeneity enhanced as particle or temperature...

Abstract Uracil derivatives are potential nontoxic thermal stabilizers of poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) and have a better stabilization effect. 5,6‐diamino‐1,3‐dimethyluracil (DDU) was investigated as stabilizer for PVC. The effect DDU measured by thermogravimetric analysis, aging test, recording the time color change Congo red paper (Congo test). Meanwhile, processability PVC stabilized through dynamic performance test. results showed stabilizing compared with calcium stearate (CaSt 2 ) zinc...
