Two new diketopiperazine derivatives, bacillusamides A (1) and B (2), have been isolated from the EtOAc extract of sea urchin-derived Bacillus sp. along with known cyclo(-L-pro-L-val-) (3), cyclo(-L-pro-L-tyr-) (4), cyclo(-L-pro-L-phe-) (5). These structures were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic methods. Furthermore, absolute configurations amino acid residues determined using Marfey's method. Compound 1 displayed weak antifungal activity against Aspergillus niger.
Abstract Aluminum nitride (AlN) thin films were grown by pressure gradient sputtering (PGS) and conventional methods. A with low at a substrate position was measured only in the PGS method. AlN highly oriented along c -axis both methods, but there remarkable differences surface roughness piezoelectric properties. The average (Ra) obtained atomic force microscopy images much smaller constant ( d 33 ) of method higher than that These results revealed technique has an advantage growth are...
A 48-year-old woman was admitted to our hospital with hematemesis that occurred after dinner. Two years previously, she had been diagnosed as having pemphigus vulgaris on the basis of bullous lesions in oral mucosa and presence anti-desmoglein 3 (Dsg3) antibodies. Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) revealed desquamation mucosa, blood oozing from entire esophagus ([Fig. 1]), a whitish strip, which exfoliated esophageal hanging loosely cardia 2]). Prednisolone (30 mg/day) administered. weeks...

We developed a high-frequency high-power impulse magnetron sputtering (HF-high-power pulses can significantly ionize sputtered atoms, which is known as (HiPIMS)) method to reduce droplet formation and improve film functionality. In this work, the effects of tail time discharge current on properties in diamond-like carbon (DLC) deposition were investigated using HF-HiPIMS method. First, we evaluated density peak explained adaptive limits previously used evaluation parameters. Next, introduced...
Aiming to develop a new high-power impulse magnetron sputtering (HiPIMS) method reduce droplets and further improve the functionality of thin films, we previously designed high-frequency inclusion HiPIMS (HF-HiPIMS) power supply obtain high-performance diamond-like carbon (DLC) films. Herein, chemical structure DLC films deposited via HF-HiPIMS was analyzed using Raman spectroscopy. First, peak positions were fixed number fitting parameters reduced by conducting waveform separation initial...
Background: It has been shown that there are lactate transporter proteins (monocarboxylate transporters: MCT) in the cell membranes of many tissues such as heart, skeletal muscle and red blood (RBC). Seven MCT subtypes have cloned recent years. They specifically distributed among tissues, RBC, fiber types. was reported MCT1 biopsy sample increased by exercise training. Although RBC can be measured samples, its significance not clarified. Objective: This study conducted to examine...
