An ultrafast high-sensitivity refractive index (RI) and temperature-sensing system based on an optoelectronic oscillator (OEO) is proposed demonstrated in this paper. A Fabry–Perot fiber Bragg grating (FP-FBG), which combines a gap with two FBGs silica V-shaped slot characterizes narrow notch the reflection spectrum, incorporated OEO to implement microwave photonic filter perform oscillating frequency selection. signal generated by OEO, whose determined center of FP-FBG notch, varies...
Contrastive cross-modality pretraining has recently exhibited impressive success in diverse fields, whereas there is limited research on their merits speech emotion recognition (SER). In this paper, we propose GEmo-CLAP, a kind of gender-attribute-enhanced contrastive language-audio (CLAP) method for SER. Specifically, first construct an effective CLAP (Emo-CLAP) SER, using pretrained text and audio encoders. Second, given the significance gender information two novel multi-task learning...
Trichilemmal carcinoma (TLC) is a rare malignant cutaneous adnexal neoplasm, with no relatively comprehensive research. The aim of this study to perform an updated statistical analysis so as better understand TLC's epidemiology, clinical features, diagnosis, and treatment. The diagnosis treatment three TLC cases in our department were summarized. Then, all published the literature retrieved for analysis, followed by global trends regional distribution, demographic characteristics,...
By incorporating a phase-shifted fiber Bragg grating (PS-FBG) inscribed in few-mode (FMF) named FM-PS-FBG for the first time, novel frequency-switchable optoelectronic oscillator (OEO) to perform simultaneous strain and temperature measurement is proposed experimentally demonstrated. In OEO loop, two switchable oscillation frequencies are determined by reflected bands of based on different mode couplings corresponding notches. Due characteristics modes, OEO-generated microwave signals...
A novel scheme for angular velocity measurement is proposed and demonstrated by using an optoelectronic oscillator (OEO) incorporating a Sagnac interferometer. In the OEO resonant cavity, optical carrier (OC) first-order sidebands propagate in opposite directions loop. Thus, rotation-induced phase difference between OC will produce oscillating frequency shift of which proportional to rotation velocity. Then high-sensitivity realized monitoring microwave frequency. The system free from...
We propose and experimentally demonstrate a compact Mach–Zehnder interferometer (MZI)-based no-core fiber hollow-core (NHN) structure. Two segments of the embedded on two ends are employed as beam splitter combiner, which realize an MZI to measure temperature strain. With variation strain, measurement is achieved by monitoring transmission spectrum shift MZI. The results show that proposed sensor has sensitivity 30.92 pm/°C in range from 30°C 90°C, strain 0.652 pm/μϵ 0 700 μϵ, respectively....
We propose a new approach to realize switchable mode operation in few-mode erbium-doped fiber laser. The ring laser structure is constructed with core-offset splicing between single-mode and dual-mode fiber. Stable operating on the fundamental second-order individually or simultaneously realized by appropriately adjusting state of polarization controller bending status Bragg grating. narrow 3 dB linewidth less than 0.02 nm high optical signal noise ratio more 42 are obtained for both modes...
We experimentally demonstrate a narrow linewidth single-longitudinal-mode erbium-doped fiber ring laser with an output of tunable second-order optical vortex beams (OVB). The is based on mode selective all-fiber fused coupler, which composed single-mode (SMF) and few-mode (FMF). SMF-FMF coupler inserted in the cavity acts as converter, converts LP 01 to...
We experimentally demonstrate a multiwavelength fiber ring laser with tunable orbital angular momentum (OAM) beam output. The is embedded few-mode Bragg grating and mode selective coupler (MSC). conversion from LP01 to LP11 realized by using the MSC as converter. By rotating polarizer set at output end of MSC, topological charge OAM can be tuned l = −1 +1 thus obtained. adjusting polarization controllers (PCs), operate under single-, dual- triple-wavelength lasing conditions.
We propose and demonstrate an asymmetrical Fabry-Perot interferometric (AFPI) fiber sensor for simultaneous measurement of the curvature temperature. The AFPI is comprised a low reflective Bragg grating with narrow bandwidth no-core broadband Fresnel reflection. extinction ratio measured in experiment defined as difference between amplitude maximum peak its left adjacent dip, which about 6 dB. With variation temperature, wavelength show different responses, thus temperature can be achieved....
We present a Conformer-based end-to-end neural diarization (EEND) model that uses both acoustic input and features derived from an automatic speech recognition (ASR) model. Two categories of are explored: directly ASR output (phones, position-in-word word boundaries) lexical speaker change detection model, trained by fine-tuning pretrained BERT on the output. Three modifications to EEND architecture proposed incorporate features. First, concatenated with Second, we propose new attention...
In this paper we propose and experimentally demonstrate an optical fiber structure sensor based on a Mach–Zehnder interferometer for pressure measurement. The is composed of single-mode-no-core-single-mode structure, section capillary pure silica tube refractive index matching fluid (RIMF). As the decreases, sealed air in expands liquid level RIMF increases, which causes wavelength shift interferometer. measurement variation can thus be achieved by monitoring shift. experimental results...
Background Communication between fibroblasts and endothelial cells is essential for skin wound repair regeneration. Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are crucial intracellular communication by transporting active molecules. However, whether EVs derived from diabetic can perform the nomal function unclear. Here, we compared effects of human (HSFs) induced with or without HG on angiogenic healing. Methods We first collected HSFs cultured normal glucose concentration (NG-EVs) (HG-EVs) applied them...
A single-longitudinal-mode (SLM) fiber ring laser with cylindrical vector beam (CVB) output is experimentally demonstrated. Mode selection and spectrum filtering are achieved by introducing a two-mode Bragg grating (TM-FBG) as an mirror simultaneously. The SLM operation obtained using compound cavity structure together un-pumped EDF acting saturable absorber. operates at single wavelength of 1545.99 nm 20 dB linewidth about 7.1 kHz optical signal to noise ratio more than 68 dB. Through...
