Abstract We present surface photometry and metallicity measurements for 104 nearby dwarf galaxies imaged with the Advanced Camera Surveys Wide Field Planetary 2 aboard Hubble Space Telescope. In addition, we carried out 26 of sample Sextans B on images Sloan Digital Sky Survey. Our comprises spheroidal, irregular transition type located within ∼10 Mpc in field groups: M81, Centaurus A, Sculptor Canes Venatici I cloud. It is found that early-type have average higher at a given luminosity...

We present the results of stellar photometry polar ring galaxies NGC 2685 and 4650A, using archival data obtained with Hubble Space Telescope's Wide Field Planetary Camera 2. Polar rings these were resolved into ∼800 ∼430 objects in B, V, IC bands, a considerable part which are blue supergiants located young complexes. The features CM diagrams best represented by isochrones metallicity Z = 0.008. process star formation both was continuous, age youngest detected stars is about 9 Myr for 6.5 4650A.

We present the results of stellar photometry polar-ring galaxy NGC 660 using Hubble Space Telescope's archival data obtained with Wide Field Planetary Camera 2. The final list resolved stars contains 550 objects, a considerable part which are blue and red supergiants belonging to polar ring. analysis Colour–Magnitude Diagram for ring shows that it is best represented by isochrones metallicity . process star formation in was continuous age youngest detected about 7 Myr.

We present results of our investigation two multi-spin galaxies which were taken from the catalog polar ring galaxies. All them possess nucleus-like knots. An analysis gas and stars kinematics study stellar population carried out for these objects. A complex structure peculiar both components revealed. The observed distribution age metallicity in central parts (radius is about 8″) along directions through their knots helps us to understand merging processes make conclusion knots’ nature

We present an analysis of new observations a peculiar galaxy PGC 60020, obtained with the 6-m BTA telescope SAO RAS multimode SCORPIO instrument. The observational data includes direct images in B, V, Rc photometric bands and long-slit spectra red range (the Ha line spectral region). Based on these it was found that 60020 belongs to type classical polar-ring galaxies. Its main body is S0 galaxy, around major axis which disk gas, dust stars rotating plane inclined at angle about 60 degrees...
