The chemical regeneration of granular activated carbon exhausted in a petrochemical wastewater unit was investigated. Gas chromatography and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy demonstrated that spent carries large types organic inorganic materials. Diverse solvents were adopted comparison with traditional efficiency investigated for each approach. optimum procedure condition including temperature, concentration solvent, time determined. regenerated used the adsorption methylene blue (MB)...

Pyrolysis of Iranian oak has been investigated under different temperatures, heating rates, particle sizes, carrier gases, and zeolite-based catalysts. A semi-batch fixed bed reactor thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA) were used to carry out the pyrolysis experiments simultaneously. The varied components produced organic liquids measured using gas chromatograph mass spectrometry, results showed that phenols, furans, aldehydes, ketones, hydrocarbons had significant shares liquid products....

Water addition plays a pivotal role in prolonging the catalytic dehydrogenation reactions and normally starts at beginning of process. A delayed water injection strategy is proposed this study to improve performance bimetallic Pt-Sn/Al2O3 catalyst utilized for long-chain alkanes (nC 10 –C 13 ) industrial scale. The took place pressure 0.11–0.13 MPa temperature varied between 470 490 °C. Postponing supply until middle run leads longer operating life consequently reduces production costs...
